  • Someone posited once, and I agree, that if you were to equalize the playing field completely in terms of money in the bank, say $100,000 for every person over the age of 18 in America, that within 1 year, the same people who are in “poverty” now would have nothing, and the same people who are “rich” now would have much more. It’s called being financially savvy, i.e. not spending more than you make, looking for investment opportunities to “grow” your money, and just plain not wasting money.

So, no, it’s not as easy as giving people money. If it were that easy, poverty would have been eradicated long ago just like polio.

Idiots; as a Christian I don’t hate anyone, but American Progressives come very close to pushing me over that edge.

  • I think that it’s absolutely ridiculous that many states restrict concealed-carry in churches, as this is now just another “gun free zone” for lunatics to exploit. I don’t have a concealed-carry permit (yet) as I live in Illinois (I can’t get my family to agree to move to Wyoming or Montana yet, but they’re close). Regardless, my pastor (and friend) has asked me to carry when I come to church just in case something happens. It helps that I’ve been shooting/training for 30+ years, and that I sit in a very advantageous position in the back corner of the church (I run the soundboard/computer). I suspect there are a few others peppered throughout the congregation that are carrying as well, or at the very least, most of the men in our church would be making an effort to at least tackle any assailant that tried anything. This world is spinning out of control, but as a Christian at least I know how it all ends.

  • Lava’s pretty bad, but we had water with SHARKS in our floors! I grew up in eastern Colorado, and had a very irrational fear of sharks for many years. :)

With regard to the article; this is one of the many reasons why we homeschool. The government must absolutely hate my family. Gun-loving, Bible-believing, self-sufficient, homeschooling, Constitution-respecting Christians that we are. How dare we have no need for our superiors to make rules for us to obey to in order to have a happy and fulfilling life!

  • Okay, people. He’s using what looks to a be a Browning Citori 625 over/under 12 gauge shotgun with a ported barrel. The “puff of smoke” is from the ports on top of the barrel, which is used to deflect some of the gasses upwards in order to soften the recoil. These run about $2500 – 3000. Nice guns.

Secondly, the angle is not unusual, especially if you’re shooting at doubles, or early/late in the throw.

I believe this to be a real picture, not a photoshop. I wouldn’t doubt if it’s staged, as most of what this narcissist does seems to be staged.

That being said, trapshooting does not make you any more of a firearms expert than driving a car makes you a mechanic. And this does nothing to change the fact that this person would like nothing more than to strip us of our constitutional rights, and lies about the intent of the second amendment in an attempt to support his argument.

I still don’t like anything about this man’s policies or direction for this country.

  • Um, that’s not a semi-auto, it’s an over/under.

  • It apparently needs to be said (again) for people like Tony that this, like most movie theaters, was a “Gun Free Zone”. You see, they’re trying to protect their patrons from those evil guns.

The sooner you figure out that almost all of these mass murders with guns occur in crowded, designated gun-free zones (i.e. schools, some churches, theaters, etc.), the sooner you might begin to figure out that the problem is NOT the guns themselves, but rather the evil, depraved, psychopathic killers that use guns to kill a large number of unarmed innocent people.

Good thing I no longer have any guns or ammunition. Nothing to see here. Move along. (that was for the benefit of the government who I have no doubt is scouring these websites so in their infinite wisdom they can of course prevent any more of these tragedies from happening. All hail the federal government). Sarcasm of course intended.

Jeremiah 17:9 “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?” New Living Translation

  • Hilarious! Growing up in eastern Colorado, I’ve seen about two dozen tornadoes, one of which was an F4 that split into two separate tornadoes in the middle of our small town. What the kid saw was nothing, but it was obviously exciting for him.

Extreme weather events are all relative. I would probably get a lot more excited over, say, a small earthquake, than someone who has been through them before, since I’ve never experienced one before.

Why are we all so cynical this morning? Just enjoy the video for what it is.
