What hatred do I have? Just calling out hypocrisy when I see it. But even if she is Christian now, she should support someone who would have denied her a divorce.

Her divorces took place before she became a Christian. She is now trying to live a righteous life.
May we all learn from her example!

Actually, I want government out of marriage altogether. Before the Civil War, it only involved the couple, their friends and families, and the officiant. Records were kept by individual churches. There were not tax breaks, because there was not income tax.
You can always find a church which ignores God’s rules and will “marry” two people of the same sex, so that shouldn’t be an issue.

I’ll bet you thought that was clever, didn’t you?
One hundred years from now, let’s have a discussion on your cleverness, OK?
May your heart be filled with the pure love of Christ.

No, I believe that distinction is yours alone.

The Judicial Branch does not pass laws; the Legislative Branch does.
You need a refresher course in government.

The hatred you feel in your heart does not come from Heavenly Father; it comes from the adversary.
Heavenly Father is grieved by sexual sin, but He still loves His children. We will all be judged by GOD, even though you are the one who is cursing them.
May your heart be filled with charity, the pure love of Christ.

The Fourth Commandment is “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.”
The Fifth Commandment is “Honor thy father and thy mother.” This has to do with family, not all authority.
What commandment are you thinking about? What Bible do you use?
they might be referring to Romans where we are to obey the laws of the government that God has set up. but I disagree with jfriedri in that this woman feels that by doing this she is having to participate in sinful activity. yes she does need to go to jail for this. it is one of the best ways to reverse this is to stand so solidly on principle that you are willing to lose freedom to stand. I applaud her for her stand and pray she stands firm. more of this is needed.

Most people get fired for not doing their duties, not locked up!
I'm sure many are wondering how this will play out. Might a federal appeals court intervene? Perhaps Justice Kagan will have a change of heart and issue an order helpful to Mrs. Davis? Is there a mechanism for another SCOTUS justice to weigh in or intervene? Jailing an individual for their mainstream Christian beliefs is probably giving a lot of judges that icky feeling in their belly that you often get when you do something wrong.

“No one is above the law.” I guess that means that 0bama is a no one. We knew that!

He seems to think he is a god. Muslim rules don’t apply to him any more than secular laws do. Muslims don’t drink beer or engage in homosexual activity.
There was no hate in my comment. Just saying if one were to follow a foolish religion, one may tend to do foolish things.

Trump can’t even quote ONE scripture from the Bible!
We need a president who has faith in God, not in the next business deal.

Not all children turn out the way their parents intended. He CHOSE to kill; his parents did not choose this for him.
Heavenly Father’s intention is for all to obey His commandments, but He gave us agency to choose to accept or reject His will.
May the pure love of Christ fill your heart.

Well, THIS TEA Party granny supports a TRUE conservative, Ted Cruz!
May Heavenly Father bless you.
