Why is nit the responsibility of the illegals to go home and fix their country as opposed to our responsibility to take care of them?

It’s not a day of reflection. It is a day of prayer!

MEnnis, that’s what the separation is suppose to mean but that is not what it has become. It has become anything that might reflect the morals of a religious person is deemed unconstitutional. It has become separation of religious with state.

If there were separation of church and state that would mean that Christians could not vote. The church is a group of people called by God. If you are citizens and Christians then you should be able to express that. All laws are the result of someone’s values. Who’s values do you want representing you?
Coupe, you may have hit on something very important. That might actually be the reason for the incessant crying about separation of church and state. this way they can nullify the citizens of this nation if because of their faith they would be establishing religion by participating in society. have never seen that used but I would not be the least surprised if eventually when they become more brazen they simply state it that way. Don't worry about logic with them, Satan and his minions are not too concerned with logic or Irony. anyone professing anything besides Christianity will be seen as good upstanding citizens where Christians will be enemies of the state. I seem to recall that mentality back a couple thousand years ago in the Roman Empire. Funny how history repeats itself.
great point Coupe
The separation of church and state means that the government should not have one religion as the only one, as many countries in Europe did at the time, and that the government would establish a religion like the British government did. It does not mean that religions should not be in government or affect their actions.
Maybe you have a point there. I mean, since the church doesn't pay any taxes.

There is no such thing as gay sex. There is a gay sexual experience. Only two of the opposite sex can have sex. That is why there can be no gay marriage. They can never consummate.
Interesting thoughts, I have considered this.
When heterosexuals engage in sodomy I do not consider it an act of sex, either. Rather a selfish act of cruelty and punishment on someone they cannot truly claim to love.

There is no such thing as gay sex. There is a gay sexual experience. Only opposite sexes can have sex. There are only two sexes. There are not four. Marriage is only between two people of the opposite sex. There is no discrimination. Everyone has exactly the sma right to get married. exactly the same.

It is a human fetus, thus a human being. A woman can choose to not have sex unless she is raped and women know the possible result. It is never the baby’s fault. If you make the choice to make a baby, you don’t get to kill it.

It isn’t historic yet. Why call it historic if it isn’t?
Blacks couldn’t get water from any place that was legally available to other citizens. People who call themselves gay could get married to anyone. The law was completely exactly equal and fair. it is not the same thing at all. Is that your best argument?
 December 13, 2014 at 2:21pm
People who call themselves gay have always been able to get married. Just find someone of the opposite sex that will have you. It has always been perfectly equal. Everyone has always had this right. There was no discrimination.
"Blacks could get water too, they just had to go to a blacks only water fountain. But they could get it, everyone has the right to drink out of a water fountain, thats not discrimination"
Why do people always try to make this stupid argument? You get to marry another adult with their consent and nobody will say you can't, but you'll stand around insisting that other people not be allowed to marry the person they love...
Because you have a problem with it.
The “right” to marry someone you can’t be attracted to and ruin both your lives is not equal to the right to marry someone you want to be married to and can love as they deserve.
Real marriage will always be between one man and one woman. Homosexuals live a farce of a marriage, it never was and will never be.

Church buildings are just buildings. The people in them are the church. Beck always talks about how smart you guys are but you are highly ignorant.

Let me get this straight. He blew off the radio show on Friday to go watch a baseball game?
Changing minimum wage does not solve the underlying problems such as single motherhood. Are most people raising families on minimum wage single mothers? Where are the fathers? Do they have a job? Do the people living on minimum wage get Food Stamps and other government help? Then they are not living on minimum wage are they? Is it possible for those people to get a job that pays higher? Have they really exhausted all possibilities? Do they have parents or other family members that will help them? Can they live together with other people to pool resources until they can get ahead?
Aren't minimum wage jobs supposed to be like starter jobs? Like in training? Like when you are a teenager wanting spending money You babysit bag groceries or mow lawns, or a student living at home or going to college you wait tables or store clerk. When you finish (accent on finish) school you take a minimum wage and do your damnedest to work your way up.
Minimum wage jobs aren't meant to buy a house, two cars and support a family. They are supposed to make you say to your young self, "damn, I don't want to be doing this and working for peanuts for the rest of my life. I'm going to stay in school study hard, work hard, work smart and do better."
That's what our parents and grandparents did, and if the government had stayed out of our lives, businesses and schools, our kids would still be able to do it.
I'm sick of hearing "single mother' like it's some sort of a pass. They should receive assistance, child care and education for 18 months. At which time they should have a certificate or license for some sort of specialized legitimate private sector occupation. . . NOT dime-a-dozen social workers. Then they have 6 months to find a job and get on their own two feet. No excuses. In fact 18 + 6 months is being generous. . . I did it in 6 total.

It is the exact opposite. People are living longer healthier lives. Check what life expectancy was in 1946. There is a very deep anti-capitalist stream that runs through this food story. It comes from the statists that shut down the independent sales and from the people who continually dis large food and seed companies. Communists have taken over the green and food movements.
I don't care if big corporations make food-like stuff, or if big seed companies make frankenseeds. Not everyone, or even most, can get real food and grow naturally produced plants for food, especially those in cities. But I get real mad when the government and the big food and seed companies tell me I can't grow my own food, save my own rainwater, or buy from my provider of choice for food that I prefer. It's all about control. Follow the money, every time.
I am about as far from a communist as one can get. But I am educated about what is happening to my food supply. Big Agro, and specifically Monsanto, are creating a health crisis like we have never seen.
Longer lives? That is a function of medical science. It has nothing to do with our food supply. The health issues that we are starting to see in this decade are just the tip of the iceberg of what is coming.
Our bodies are not designed to eat "Round Up Ready" produce. Glycosphate, which is in Round Up, is part of every commercial corn and soy feed for animals, and humans. It is an "endocrine system disruptor." The GMO food, and the glycosphate, are also destroying digestive systems.
Look up the endocrine system, which includes the liver. Look up "leaky gut" syndrome.
And watch a documentary about Monsanto, which is the Big Agro bully not just in this country, but in the world. I am a capitalist, but there are issues more complicated here.
As a biologist, I have to disagree with Coupe.
The GMO stuff is scary. Test for 6 weeks with healthy volunteers, then put it on the market. When something is changed in a cell, it doesn't just change that one thing. no technology exists that can transplant a single gene. Its' a block of DNA that gets taken from one thing and put in another. Typically, there are 30+ failures before anything close to what is desired happens.
All sorts of problems. The Integrated Pest Management people in the 1990s predicted that GMOs would create resistant pests because of having one pesticide in the food present all the time. This has happened. About 1/'3 of our crops in the U.S. are now lost to pestilence. Adding BT genes has resulted in allergic reactions, deaths of livestock, and resistant lepidopteran strains.
The Snake River sugar company recently went to GMO sugar beets. Didn't appear to consider the consequences to customers. I imagine they will go under shortly. Not many people want to buy stuff that can make them sick.
Overall people are healthier longer. It's mainly due to smoking disappearing. The life expectancy from 1890 to 1910 dropped from the mid 60s to 41 because of the widespread adoption of industrial cigarettes. By the1950s, half the country smoked. Those that didn't, tended to live a long time.
My (p) grandad was born in 1871. His dad served in the Civil War. My other grandad was born in 1911.
When I took bio modeling, the first thing they did was take us to an 1800s cemetary.
How long do you think the average was?
Most lived to the mid 60s.
The one exception was that people 5 and under usually died, because of childhood diseases. Much ado's been made about indian epidemics, but epidemics were common among all groups in this world prior to modern medicine.
Five things improved the lifespan. Antibiotics, smoking being less common now, immunizations, health services actively stopping epidemics, and better nutrition.
I forgot to mention that GenY is less healthy than GenX because of two things:
1. The first generation to be mostly raised by daycare. This replicated the tenement conditions of the 1890s east coast cities in terms of bacterial and viral infections that kids were exposed to before the age of 6. It's had some really bad results.
2. Dope. One of the things ignored by the pothead is what it did to their kids. All sorts of effects on the unborn kids, from extremes like fetal marijuana syndrome, to genetic damage of various kinds. With so many GenX women addicted to pot, it made a massive difference in how healthy their kids were.

Romans 10:9-10New International Version (NIV)
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
If they are still ignorant then He hasn't fixed it.
Christianity is taking upon us His name; or becoming more like Him. How can be like Him if we don't know anything about Him. That is why we need to study by reading, listening to people that may know, praying and pondering.
Totally agree NavET-SS,
BTW... long shot:
If you are the same that taught DC at NTTC Cory in '86, I'm the one who was first w/o B double E school XD Good times and you are awesome!
