  For many years we’ve been moving further and further away from God and the principles put forth by our founding fathers. Although it’s true that most people are shocked beyond belief it really shouldn’t come as any huge surprise to those of us who know the reality of the problems we face. The violence can be traced to 1962 when prayer was removed from our public schools. One can take a look back in biblical history to the people of the Old Testament who forsake God and turned to their false idols and that’s when life became much more difficult for those people. We, Christians, do know that God is All Good, All Loving and Slow to Anger but we also know our God is a God of justice. Nowadays our idols are many and our path to destruction is evident. What of the over 50 million innocents who’ve been killed since 1973? Isn’t anyone shocked that so many babies have died and all in the name of “Choice” or Convenience. If we choose to continue down this path we will witness more of the same random acts of violence. For God’s sake, be honest with yourselves and witness for yourselves the degeneration of a great, God fearing country. May God bless America and shed his grace on thee.
