He’d still chop his daughters head off for “honor”…but would use a dull blade

He’d still stone his child to death for “honor”…but would use stones of a smaller size

He’s still send out suicide bombers to kill infidels…but only promises them 50 virgins

They are an asset at the voting booth…let’s face it, republicans are not going to vote democrat for any reason & very few will “throw their vote away” on a libertarian.

That said, it is a liability to our soul…which is worth a lot more.

I remember a Twilight Zone episode where a confederate soldier is given a book of magic that will cause all the Union soldiers to freeze in place, allowing a beat up south to win. However, it calls upon them to revoke the name of God first. The soldier fights of the others and tosses the book in the fire, saying:

“If we are to be buried, let it be in hallowed ground.”

I’m praying for her. I understand a great deal of the “evil” policy stems from studies showing a low percentage of kids her age survive the surgery, or for very long afterwards…hence the 12 years of age requirement. I sure hope she makes it…but if not, I hope the lungs can be transplanted yet again into another child on the list.

Please check out a company called Organovo (yes I have stock…about 250 shares) who have developed a 3D Bio-printer. Their goal is to be able to “print” whole organs on demand from donor tissue. Currently they can do arteries and skin. They take donor tissue, run it through the machine and the tissue is reformed. Even better…if the donor tissue come from the patient themselves, there is no chance of rejection. Think of it…no more waiting lists! They are traded on the stock market under the tag ONVO and had their first IPO in February last year.
