  • That’s exactly what I thought.

Political Correctness will be the death of us all…

  • I clearly heard the words “I shot them”…twice…most of it is garbled but ‘robbery’, ‘two black suspects’ and ‘I shot them’ are words that were pretty clear. There’s no excuse to dismiss this and come out an hour later.

  • Indeed, he was shot already. You can see the blood start to blossom under his left arm and the middle of his back. And I agree that he’s probably shot on the side of his head.

I should save this video in case I have to once again explain that I should have as many rounds and magazines as I feel necessary. Limiting me in that way will do nothing to keep crime down but may save my life and that of my family members.

  • ZAPPARULES: “I DO NOT SEEK TO TOTALLY DISARM ANYONE!!!
I do though believe as an advanced society we should have reasonable and responsible limits on the weapons citizens can own.
I (and Millions of others in OUR country) do NOT feel safer when some (or anyone – legal and mentally competent) can obtain ANY grade of weapon.”

Military grade weapons are already restricted, you repeating otherwise will not make it true. Citizens MUST already pass a background check to buy weapons from ANY dealer, gun show table or internet store. What more? Lists like the ones exploited by the NY paper that disclosed who’s a gun owner so that the criminals and lunatics (those that you should be concerned with instead of the rest of us) knew where to find them?

“Do you actually believe the citizens of America can ‘defeat’ the world’s most heavily armed, technologically advanced law enforcement and military? Or is that not the point? Is it that you simply just want to be able to have the chance to go up against them — without being too far out-gunned?”

No but I believe that as a law abiding citizen I already have had my right to self defense restricted to a reasonable level. I have gone through federal and state checks to approve my CCL. I don’t commit crimes so I object to the assumption that because I own guns I’m dangerous.

If you are so afraid of guns in the hands of the good people more than criminals I suggest you get your head examined. Criminals need to be pr

  • oops my link got cut http://www.sightm1911.com/lib/rkba/ff_militia.htm

  • @ZAPPARULES: BTW “Machine guns / bazookas / grenade launchers” are already illegal to own by us regular people. To acquire those you either have to pass very stringent background checks & pay lots of money OR you can acquire them illegally.

In case you didn’t know or have forgotten the 2nd amendment is about equipment that the militiaman can carry and operate all on his own. And back then a ‘well regulated militia’ meant those that could afford to own & carry as well as train their own equipment fit for duty.

George Washington: A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.

“IMPORTANT NOTE: Back in the 18th century, a “regular” army meant an army that had standard military equipment. So a “well regulated” army was simply one that was “well equipped” and organized. It does not refer to a professional army. The 17th century folks used the term “standing army” or “regulars” to describe a professional army. Therefore, “a well regulated militia” only means a well equipped militia that was organized and maintained internal discipline. It does not imply the modern meaning of “regulated,” which means controlled or administered by some superior entity. Federal control over the militia comes from other parts of the Constitution, but not from the 2nd” http://www

  • @ZAPPARULES: I draw the line where my property line is. You force your way into my house in the middle of the night, armed or not, and you will get shot. Why? Because I have daughters a son and my own safety to defend. No one is welcome here without an invitation.

That 19 yr old man knew before he broke in, is TEXAS for G’s sake, that he could be shot but he did it anyway.

You may chose to be a defenseless victim but you can not pretend to even tell others they should do the same. We are all born with the right of self defense. This right is enshrined in the constitution and it is not something another human being or the government can take away except by force and enslavement. Period.

  • I haven’t bought GE anything since the light bulb thing…is been a couple of years.

I’m guessing some other financial company would want to get in now that gun shops are pretty much selling their inventory even before they get it. If I could I’d invest.

  • How is this “thing” still alive? 15 years and they are still deciding what kind of sentence it needs? A 6 month old baby raped and beaten to death and it actually found a lawyer willing to ask for mercy for it? I’m not understanding why it is still alive, if there ever was a case for capital punishment this is it!

  • A couple of comments for everyone’s education: The ATHLETIC Trainers tending to the player ARE medical personnel. They are not training horses or dogs they are providing medical services: first response, evaluation of athletic injuries, evaluation of general medical conditions, rehabilitation and prevention of athletic injuries for the team members.

Athletic Trainers are an athlete’s first and best advocate in dealing with the coaches and administrators of a team (parents when it comes to minors) when it comes to their health. They are Allied Health Professionals.
