You should pay attention to reality as it is not as you see it.

Israel is concerned that Syrian chemical weapons will be delivered to Hezbollah and they have acted to prevent it from happening. Other than that, Israel is on the side lines here.

So it’s a nice play on words but a fail in reality. And Ron Paul’s biggest problem isn’t his position per say, just his crappy inability to properly explain his position when he’s not one on one. He’s an emotional little guy. Ron Paul is also extreme in his positions and some times avoids reality as it is. You can agree with someone 90% of the time and the 10% can really set you off. It happens.

You are only partially correct.

It is an attempt to pander rather than to lead.

Though many Mexicans are conservative by nature there is no real conservative leadership to ralley them so they will follow the propaganda that American conservatives are racist and hate them.

All of this crap boils down to a lack of a leader who can ralley the citizenry under simple truths and stand up to the smear machine by not giving a damn and calling them out.

It is not a military function, this Staff Sergeant agree’s with so many, wear the cap and gown.

Finish enjoying your youth. There are plenty of years for that uniform.

I can understand the zeal the kid has, he’s excited, but he’s also a kid and a private. Our over zealousness of the supporters of the military don’t always understand the time and place for some things.

It’s frustrating because anyone who would seriously fight in such a war want no part of it and are the ones who are trained to do so.

It’s cool to joke every now and then, but the thought sickens me because picking any side means fighting family and/or friends.

I still say the Empire was cooler. I loved playing Tie-Fighter :-)

If you start using the word rebellion it makes me think of Star Wars and how the Empire was actually way cooler than the Rebellion but thanks to that clown George Lucas everyone fell in love a corrupt and disfunctional resistence.

My only point is don’t sound so cliche when talking about modern events ;-)

You know if this country were to plung into another civil war the majority of the world would probably forget about the French Revolution. I pray that doesn’t happen.

Which is the unfortunately reality we live in.

I say abolish the IRS, initiate the FAIR Tax, let the States Boards of Equalization collect the taxes from the businesses and forward. Too easy. But it won’t happen.
