I think it’s safe to assume this fella is not from the south. No born, bred and raised southerner will use an expression like “douchebag”. We have this same problem here in western nc. Flocks of halfbacks and northerners moving here with their noses in the air acting as if their $*^t don’t stink and us lowly hillbillies are just stupid, backwards, idiots. Worse they come here and get elected to town council, sheriff, mayor, etc and then try to turn our home into the same kind of hellhole they fled from. Arrogant self involved a-holes for the most part.
This pub owner should realize that the people in this country with the most sense are southerners and may also want to keep in mind that if he, as a business owner denies someone their second ammendment right to self defense, then he essentially makes himself liable for his patrons safety. Ask his liability insurance company how they like that.

Anconinn. I agree she is being granted power from god. Only not from God. The little “g” god of this world is the one supporting her. The same one in fact working in you. I’ll pray for you.

Seems to me that you “Glenn” have unwittingly made an argument in support of concealed carry. Sure the big bad black guns are scary to alot of people which is why I don’t have one over my shoulder at work. But I do have a conceal permit and do carry everywhere that I can legally and none are the wiser.
As a business owner it is your prerogative to require no weapons on premises. It is your right. It is also someone’s right to be able to defend themselves both naturally and constitutionally. If you use your right as a business owner to deny someone else’s right to defense then you do essentially make yourself responsible for their safety while at work. Is that a responsibility you’re willing to take on? Considering your line of work and the number of people who hate you I would call it an unacceptable risk. Just a thought. Anyway….love what you and the guys are doing. Keep it up.

When Paul the apostle was about to be flogged by a roman centurian he said “Is it lawful for you to flog a roman?” These words stopped the centurian dead in his tracks because being a roman citizen was held in the highest regard at the time. A “citizen” was to be given all benefit of a doubt in matters of law and strict adherence to protocol was mandatory. So Paul was eventually taken to Rome to have his case heard. “Citizenship” meant something and many scholars will tell you that among the myriad internal and external problems experienced by Rome that led to it’s downfall, the beginning of the end was when citizenship began to not account for much.
Our government has forgotten who it is that owns this country in the first place and very few people in it give a rats @ss about us citizens or the law that protects us.
There was no reason for the local gov’t to go after an old man with a small army. Seems the police state always goes completely overboard. It should not be their standard m.o but they are so militarized now they can’t help themselves. Scary stuff and shame on them.

Onikaze……….I don’t mean to hurt your feelings but you are a moron. Morals are what separates us from animals. Living as you’ve prescribed in a WROL situation is not living. The attitude you have about what could be in the future is, I hope; just insecure, I’m a tough guy B.S. Otherwise…………..I guess you can kiss my a..

Matthews clearly has a gay love crush on Obama. Could anyone be more prostrate to the Idiot in Chief than this guy? Biggest douche in journalism. Period.

Guys don’t worry about the “contamination” aspects of this tragedy. The tuna is cooked after it is canned, sealed, put on roller caddys and then steamed. Think about this though.Would it be possible to die more horribly? Absolutely terrible.

Watersrpeople……………….Are you kidding? Any ol’ thing. This guy was invading people’s homes. Perhaps you may be right though. Locking him up doesn’t seem to be the help he needs. What he needs are officer’s with better marksmanship.

There are approx 1500 families attending five services throughout the week. I’d guess one in three are packing. Everyone i know at church is and i’ve been a member eleven years. I feel sorry for any idiot that tries something at our church.

Bernbart has obviously drawn long and deep from the kool-aid well. There are so many things wrong with your points to support Obama’s healthcare scheme I am not sure where to start.
1…Let us not forget first and foremost that everything the federal gov’t touches turns to excrement.
..Social Security, Medicare, Wall street, Fed Reserve, modern warfare, foreign relations, etc. The list goes on.
2…While wonderful to look at on the surface, the fact is that this utopian version of health care reform simply cannot be paid for and will not ever be paid for. Deficit city guaranteed.
3…When has anyone been “entitled” to health care? or anything for that matter? Where does it end? Our entitlement culture today is enslaving us to the entitlers.
4… Our forefathers understood that the only entitlements worth dying for and relying on (Life, Liberty and pursuit of happiness) are those set in place since the creation of the world we live in. Placed there by an infallible, omipotent, omniscient, perfect God. Gov’t of ANY kind is not even close. The constitution is the closest we’ve ever come and is still far from God’s level of perfection.
5… All of modern politics is purely about personal gain of power. There are no public servants anymore. Obama’s health care is just to gain power. I promise you he cares not for the sovereign american citizen. His goal is put the thumb down harder on our necks through this legislation. God help us all.

I suppose all the american and soviet gi’s that liberated the death camps were all mass dillusional.

  • February 14, 2012 at 8:50pm

Absolute freakin shame. It’s no wonder so many officers are so miltarized. They’re on edge all the time not knowing if they will be in prison with the same low lifes they chase due to some political B,S while just doing their jobs. God help ‘em.

What the hell? Why aren’t we doing stuff like this? Why don’t we innovate, create and produce anymore? Because our culture and politics is riddled with people like Obama, Mao and Stalin. Who hate success and the successful. We should have done something similar with the World Trade Center. Up in no time and shaped like a giant middle finger to the rest of the world that hates us.

Communism may be a somewhat “nobel” or “idyllic” and grossly naive idea but it is far from a fair or free one. I would rather die penniless in a ditch than take from someone else what they worked for. If you owe someone something it makes you their slave until the debt is paid. I’d rather be free.

Somebody tell mika that if these “99% ers” she feels obligated to defend with her “disgust” truly are representative of 99% of americans. We are sooooooooooooooooooooo screwed.

    Dear mr. President,

if you truly are “pained” at the day to day struggles that i and other americans endure. If you would like to help then please would you consider voting for newt gingrich in 2012?
I do not ask this just to insult you. I understand that you truly believe government is the answer to the world’s trouble. You believe that government can fix anything. You have been fed this ideology your entire life. You cannot help yourself. It’s not entirely your fault.
We conservatives have been too busy living our lives, working, raising children and paying taxes. We don’t turn out to vote like the liberals do. We have by nature, not disiring to rock the boat; sat by and let the american education system, the media and the government brainwash and enslave the modern culture and youth of our modern world of which you are a part. Our inaction is our fault but we will no longer be so.
Open your eyes, be realistic. Look at history. Everything that government of any kind touches, historically turns to excrement. Limit government, reduce it’s scope, let those who work keep more if not all of their money, stop enslaving americans through entitlments, quit regulating and taxing our industries overseas, protect and uphold the constitution of these united states, abolish the fed, protect our borders. Leave us alone to do for ourselves. We’ll be fine.
Please vote for someone thats not you. Thank you.
