    Prog and Chuck
I see in addition to yourselves JRook is on the same page going in that direction and I see the timestamps being close.

While reading it I was thinking along those lines as well…
I was also thinking that he can get licensed in any of the other states.

    Let the chips fall already!

To those in Ferguson… Sorry, get your home insurance paid up, pack your irreplaceable schtuff and if your not already gone. GIT!

Your home’s values won’t recover anytime soon so BOLT!
We have to get back to real issues.

From this USAF vet, who broke 107yrs of USMC, I was never in the military but in the service… when my ‘ol man (Blue Beach Inchon 15SEP50) told me when I enlisted to never say I was in the military, well… I never was then! (lol)

    may I say… OORAH!

Sorry Sarge Free wrote, “He said they originally raised a 3×5 flag.”

Free sounds as though he is grateful that he has an interest to sit in on such talk. An interesting group of MEN to be around and yet to be the young ‘punk’ of the group and the ‘fly’ on the wall.

To use Paul Harvey’s ending “The Rest of the Story” wasn’t part of Free’s post.

That Indian was United States Marine Private First Class Ira Hayes, a Pima Indian from Arizona.

One should have a lot more respect for “THAT INDIAN”

Louis Centi is exactly right with one exception the 1st flag was risen by connected pipes and measured 28″”x54″ (2’4″x4’6″) but close enough. So Joe was there at 1030hrs on that 19FEB45 overcast day.

Louis Burmeister, a former Marine combat photographer who was among four military photographers alongside Mr. Rosenthal as the flag went up. Also corroborated by the color film Marine Sgt. William Genaust, a combat cameraman, at the same time from nearly the same vantage point. It shows the flag, affixed to a pipe, going up in an unbroken sequence. They took the first pics and film.

The 2nd flag was 8′x4’8″ which Joe Rosenthal went down inside a lip of the volcano’s crater, propped himself on rocks and a sandbag taken from an abandoned Japanese emplacement. He clicked his shutter as the second flag sent up and the first flag was lowered.

I recorded many of my dad’s conversations and I recommend that you ask them if you can do the same. You’re blessed for being around that group and Mr. Centi is correct.

“So, you are telling me that there are all these witnesses, these survivors who come home (from Mount Suribachi), and nobody says anything, and then someone figures out it’s different 70 years later, when they are all gone?” James Bradley asked. “I mean, come on.”

    I have a problem with:
    - An illegal having the same rights as us born here
    - An anchor baby being born here
    - Covertly inviting kids to cross the border so that eventually the parents can join them with impunity.
    - Diplomatic immunity for crimes committed here
and these are just four of a long long list….

When my turn as KING rolls around, I’m changing a lot of this crappola here in the states.

“Ahmed Tibi, an Arab member of Knesset said the bill would alienate the Arab-Israeli minority.” and “We will bring this to every international platform, including the UN”

    OH NOooooo Mr. Bill….
This will alienate the Arabs and you’ll bring it up internationally?

    Including the United Nations?

    NOoooo… Please don’t do that… PWEASE?

Do what you need to do FOR Israel.
So many of US in the U.S. support what you need to do to keep YOUR country in existence.

To those that disagree… Kiss my basement extremities…

You mean the guy that let the world know, “This is my last election. And after my election, I have more flexibility.” Then Dmitry responds, “I understand you. I transmit this information to Vladimir” ? That guy?
