I guess if their asking the Barbie questions instead of a parent or sibling, but don't kids normally play by themselves to a degree? I don't see how this would be any worse in that respect.

Our church is blessed with several families whose children are every color God makes. They so enrich our lives.

4 years ago I took a pic of humvees on a truck transport, all painted black. Since then, I’ve seen the same types of black vehicles on the streets in Texas with “Police” and in smaller letters “Dept. of Homeland Security”. Since when are police not local?

What’s not to love about cowboys? They’re my favorite people. Ronald Reagan. John Wayne. Roy Rogers. Even George W. Bush had his moments! God bless these cowboys for helping Glenn to keep on keepin’ on! We love you, Glenn. As I told you in your studios recently, I’ve been to Restoring Honor, Restoring Love and many venues here in San Antonio alone, but never felt alone. I’ve always been surrounded by friends who loved you as I do…I just didn’t know all of their names.

Great that you are open; I would ask that you would look at anything that you have found that disproves anything in the Bible…moving on, if you are a believer in evolution, which is easier to explain: 1) Divine creation, or 2) random selection?
DAGNEY, thanks for a respectful response. It is greatly appreciated.
"I would ask that you would look at anything that you have found that disproves anything in the Bible..."
I must argue that in logic it is incumbent upon one to prove their claim and not for one to disprove such a claim.
"... if you are a believer in evolution..."
I can assure that I am not a believer in evolution. I consider evolution to be far more ridicules than the biblical story of Genesis.
That selection wasn't random, per se. If you had the genes to adapt, survive, and thrive- then you made it. Otherwise... you were a fossil. I'd call that fairly determinant.
'Random selection'? You mean 'natural selection'? Random selection is a concept in biology, but I think you're confusing it with natural selection, or random mutation.
FREE, but what created genes?
Skunk, I didn't mean to imply that you specifically were an evolutionist although it seems to be a package deal for atheists because it immediately rules out a guiding force, and from your subsequent responses you clearly don't believe in evolution. If not evolution, then what? It seems to come back to either chance or a guiding force because I'm not seeing much middle ground.
I think history is pretty clear that, like most things employed in the obtaining and preservation of political power, the Bible and it's contents have been manipulated and massaged to reinforce regimes religious and secular for the last 2000 years, so I'm not using it for a reference..
I'm in all things a realist and reality seem to fall short of explaining the overwhelming complexity out of randomness without the influence of a unifying/guiding force. I think you may be more agnostic than you want to admit because to embrace atheism one must be CERTAIN of the absence of God and you state that you don't know and are open minded on the questions.
Proof of God: the domestic canine has been around for 10,000 plus years as a descendant of wolf-like ancestors; how, without a God, could the DNA of today's domestic canines been programmed to so universally embrace the experience of riding around with their heads out of the windows of devices (cars) not invented until at least 9,900 years later (assuming their wolf ancestors would have been at least somewhat pleased given the same opportunity).

There is nothing in the Bible that has ever been proven to be untrue, though some would question….let them. God’s Word IS!
What about the passages that contradict each other? Do they count?
Where is the evidence that Exodus ever happened? There is no archaeological account. Don't you think the Egyptians would have noted such an event?
Where's the evidence of the flood?
And I'm going to go ahead and say people routinely living to be 500+ years old is complete and utter lunacy.
So I assume you keep Kosher...
Freedom - show me the contradictions - while many here are not educated on the bible, I have a bit of knowledge - I have heard many claimed contradictions, which were not - but maybe you have something new - I am eager to read your words of wisdom
Oh, 500+ is lunacy? right, because claiming we came from a fish is perfectly normal.
They found Mount Sinai, the top of it is charred, exactly as the bible states,
They found in the same area, the Huge Rock that God split bringing forth water, with evidence of the spring the water created. They also found the altar Aaron built the golden calf on. It has carvings of baal on it. They found all the pillars God told Moses to build using no tools.
The video is on youtube, it's fascinating.
They also found chariots and wheels and skeletal remains at the bottom of the red sea. Youtube.
They find more and more archaeological evidence every year that confirms Biblical accounts:-)
So if you had testicular cancer, you wouldn't go to church anymore? "He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord."(Deuteronomy 23:1)
Do any Christians here believe in free will? I can disprove free will with your theology even though it seems to believe it exists
For those interested, here are the premises:
1) God had a choice in creating the universe
2) God did in fact create the universe
3) God is omniscient, meaning He knows everything that is, was, or will be
4) From the first three premises, it follows that God willingly set into motion a reality in which He already knew everything that happens, thus making Him ultimately responsible for all acts committed in this realty
5) Therefore free will is an illusion
'Oh, 500+ is lunacy? right, because claiming we came from a fish is perfectly normal.'
Well, amazingly, those whacky scientist actually have fossils (think 'evidence') of fish evolving into tetrapods....and yours for any human living close to 500?
Can any atheist tell me how something came from nothing?
Can any atheist tell me how matter can form a conscience?
Can any atheist tell me how matter can form into logic?
Atheists don't have to have answers to those questions and the "I don't know" cannot be substituted with "goddidit" without proper justification. See "god of the gaps fallacy".
Also, are you able to address me argument against free will?
While you correctly state that "God did it" is not an acceptable substitute for "I don't know" in science, you incorrectly apply the 'god of the gaps' fallacy. 'God of the gaps' fallacy is an idea dating back to 19th century and Henry Drummond, and echoed in the writings of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. The idea that Drummond and Bonhoeffer were getting at, is that God can't be used to explain only what science has yet to explain. The problem is that as science makes advances in knowledge, it would seem to restrict God to smaller and smaller gaps. Drummond and Bonhoeffer would have argued just the opposite is true, that God as creator is supreme over his creation, thus is the God of science.
So before you hijack something please take the time to educate yourself.
I've never understood the people who seem to thing that science is antithetical to religion or vice versa.
Believe what you want to believe and leave other people alone to believe what they want to believe. There's plenty of religious scientists out there.
Richard Dawkins is a scientist, but also a JERK. He has an annoying tendency to makes claims that cannot be backed up. The same can be said of a lot of people arguing Biblical creationism, they make statements that have no supporting evidence and are jerks about it.
Science cannot prove a negative. Therefore it can never prove "There is no God". Science is no threat to religion unless you fail to understand one or both.
There is nothing wrong with science or scientific studies, and they should continue. Science does not discredit God and God does not discredit science.
It is people who try to use science as a wedge between humanity and God.
No, science has NO proof of a fish becoming anything except a fish. You need to learn how science is applied. They found many fossils and they "believe" it was this or that, but not one scientist will claim it to be a fact.
If we evolved from some object or animal, there would exist MILLIONS if not BILLIONS of fossil records proving the transitions. Yet there are occasional findings of weird creatures - that in no way proves a transition. Today we have animals born with abnormalities, and even people. That is not a transition. Just an abnormality.
"The idea that Drummond and Bonhoeffer were getting at, is that God can’t be used to explain only what science has yet to explain."
Right, which is my application of the fallacy, saying you can't substitute "goddidit" for answers science doesn't have. So regardless of what the original propenents might have argued, the fallacy stands by itself and is, as a result, not a misuse
You have misused 'God of the gap' fallacy by way of the straw man argument. God of the gap only states in the positive that God can not be used to explain what science has yet to explain, because God explains so much more than the gaps. You attempt to turn that around and use it in the negative in an attempt to exclude God as an explanation of anything. Arguing the God of the gap only discredits your argument, unless you mean to say that you really are a theist.
In other words it is very different to say that God is not just the god of small things because God is the god of all things, vs God is not the god of small things because God is not the god of anything.
You seem to be arguing the latter even though God of the gaps states the former.
'No, science has NO proof of a fish becoming anything except a fish. You need to learn how science is applied. They found many fossils and they “believe” it was this or that, but not one scientist will claim it to be a fact.
If we evolved from some object or animal, there would exist MILLIONS if not BILLIONS of fossil records proving the transitions.'
So, you agree there's evidence of Macro Evolution.....or, at least you may understand just a little of the evidence from the vid. Enjoy! Mot

I have many friends who are missionaries in the most dangerous parts of the world, and they will all tell you the only way they can do what they do is to have a prayer team behind them. I know first hand how vitally important prayers are to people who are ill, who are in dire situations, who are serving the in the Muslim/non-Christian parts of the world! Prayer works, every time it’s tried! Try it yourselves, you’ll learn that God does listen, when you pray in Jesus’ Name!
That would be great if the article mentioned what you just said. However, all it promoted was wishful thinking:
"Think about him more than you’ve ever thought about anyone before. Think about him more deeply and with more detail than you’ve ever thought about anything. Think about how incredible it is that you have a brother — that he exists at all. Focus on him until you feel like your soul is going to burst. Tell him in your heart and soul that you love him. Feel that love pouring out of you from all sides. Then get up and go be with him and your family. And you can tell your grandmother that you prayed for your brother."
Studies show no better than Chance. No better than meditation. Prayer has a Jungian effect. Positive thinking has a Jungian effect. you could argue there is a super natural link between humans. It could be a god, or it could've been developed over time. I just do not believe that some omnipotent god would have yo wait over 2000 years to come and save all the souls.

Liberia is the only American colony in the world. It was established after the Civil War for all former slaves who wanted to return to Africa. It is primarily Christian, and muslims have been made aware they are not welcome there, so this may be in reprisal of that response. The President is a woman who was educated in America. It is a very poor country, and could really use all the prayers we can send to them. I have dear friends who are missionaries, and spend a month a year there with the churches and orphanages they’ve established. They won’t be able to go this year because of the ebola outbreak.

Who ever heard of the Office of Refugee Resettlement?
I have. The Office of Refugee Resettlement brought to Amerika some 72,000 Muslims from Somalia back in 2000 when our Leader was President George W. Bush, the esteemed Socialist. 4,000 of the 72,000 Muslim Somalians were resettled in Clarkston, Georgia. The local African-Americans mercilessly and relentlessly attacked them, so all of them were resettled once again to the State of Maine, where, because of inclement weather, African-Americans rarely travel or live. I haven't checked on the Somalian community in Maine recently, but a couple of years ago, they had formed criminal gangs and were themselves attacking the established European-American citizenry.

Never have understood skeptics in regards to ghosts; Jesus believed in them!
Agree 100% ,, the holy trinity includes the "spirit" , Jesus died and came back , we are told of a kingdom not of this earth.. , we are told we have an "eternal" soul ,, etc. etc. I have seen and experienced things I cannot explain and I have seen evidence much more convincing than this ... I find this subject fascinating and I want to learn more.
I think "Defending Your Life" was one of the funniest comedies ever ,, I recommend it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jp6qkZkPBhY
Please quote chapter and verse. Jesus never believed in ghosts. Demon possession yes. Big difference in our conception as ‘ghosts’ are nothing more than Satan/ and or demons messing with us. If you have seen a ‘ghost’ you have actually seen a demon—and I don’t care if it looked like your great aunt Bertha or whomever. If Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), then he can look like a dead loved one. It’s all part of his deception.
I agree and it does appear that Jesus' disciples were inclined to believe in visible spirits. They, through fear, mistook Jesus as being a spirit one time.
That's an interesting concept I never thought of. Obviously religious people don't like such a comment, but it's the very prayer: name of the father, son, and holy ghost (or holy spirit). It's a weird concept cuz religious people seem to lump the ghost thing in with heathens and witches, ghosts are evil kind of thing. Yet...at the same time, they kind of...worship a ghost, if you thin of it. ;)
39 See by my hands and my feet that it is I myself. Touch me and see for yourselves; a ghost has no flesh and bones as you can see I have.
In HIS own words...a ghost has

I remember when children were seen on their lawns in undies with no T-shirts playing in the sprinkler. Political Correctness is a crutch & a detriment to common sense!
Only a sick twisted mind sees a little girl dressed that way as something bad.
The employees definitely over-reacted but do you realize the absolute garbage these poor retail employees have to deal with on a daily basis? Before you say they should just get another job, these are basically the only jobs that are out there in most areas. Judge them after working a "service" job these days. The most inconsiderate and disgustingly behaved customers are the "entitlement" crowd! Most people treat retail employees like worthless slaves, just pay attention the next time you shop.
This old biddy and her facebook should be shamed. All kids have accidents when they start to grow. I wonder if the woman at the checkout was a parent??
Political correctness come from the liberals. Need i say more.
Proudinfidel54, that just shows you that the world is full of sick twisted individuals.
That is not the mothers fault and she did what she had to do and there was nothing wrong with it.
I guess this cashier and her manager have some serious issues, they need to see a professional, about.
But they do not seem like the type to get the help they need.
I wonder if the clerk and the store manager would have thought it okay for a couple of gay men to come strolling in the store hand in hand. But of course no one is supposed to feel that's wrong in a public place! Maybe they're okay with men using the ladies bathroom as well. But let a 2 y/o dare stand in the store with just underwear and a tee shirt on and all he$$ breaks loose.
I was soooo ready to agree with the dollar store lady.
Then I saw the age of the child...Just out of diapers...
If this child was 6, yeah problem. At 2?
And if you feel she was underdressed after an accident, maybe offer her a towel to wrap around, not yell at her.
@ItsAllCrap - Definitely agree. And sadly, I work at DG myself in another state. I'm fortunate to actually know a lot of good regular customers and they all have favorable views of me. Of course, I bend over backwards to try and help customers, much to the dismay of certain higher-ups... But of course, I don't give a damn about that.
Now onto the matter at hand, I don't think "re-training" will really help. Most people are dead-set in their views, same for myself, but I withhold a lot of stuff for various reasons. For something like this, I'd more than likely shrug it off as I'd have an idea as to what happened, especially if I saw a wet spot on the shorts if I noticed them. Children will have accidents at that age, it can't be helped. I just wish people would understand that, or do they not remember when they were a kid...
Either way, if this mother and her kids came over to the store I work at, I guarantee if I was there, the experience would be totally the opposite. But of course, as a retail associate, my job is never easy..
Texasknight, 6....really? Are you saying 6 yr olds don't or can't have accidents in public? And IF they did, it wouldn't be ok? For heaven's sake, I am 54 and "I" have accidents sometimes! It's LIFE!
As for this scenario, unless the store has a specific policy (one that is posted), that forbids certain attire, and even THEN it's iffy, then this cashier should have shut up and minded her own business. There is no room for haughtiness in her line of work.
This is only another incident among others where these so called enlightened adults create a world where all the adults perversion is projected on little children and makes life impossible. This is what happens when they suspend from school a little kid of 3 or 4 that kisses his schoolmate - and these idiots - including the girl's mother - make a fuss about it and label it sexual harassment. The whole perverted, distorted world of the politically correct adults is destroying the world for the little children.

Brad Thor, Ted Bell & our dear departed brother Vince Flynn are all more than authors, they are visionaries. Thank You, God for sending us these modern day prophets…BTW, Glenn Beck, you are included in that blessed arena!
@dagneyT - Ditto, but I sure hope that Brad Thor wasn't too prophetic in his new book "Act of War"... I have about 100 pages left so I hope it ends well or America is toast.
Great book, great author, great clothes designer! Wish he made these for the ladies... Just sayin' Brad. Got one for my Dad last Christmas, he loves it!
iceblast: Here's the thing - The government is FORCING American citizen to swallow this agenda this administration is forcing down everyone's throats. Americans are the most generous people in the entire world and it is BECAUSE we are able to give FREELY - not because we are being made to!! People really resent the fact that Glenn is asking for donations for people who are coming into this country by breaking the laws of our land and are already being forced to contribute via their tax-dollars and all the other under-handed ways the government is seeking financial aid for these people - such as enlisting the churches, especially the Catholic Churches, to beg their parishioners to actually even HOUSE these people in their OWN homes!!! These people are NOT fleeing war-torn countries!!! Whatever violence is going on is no different or more intense than it has been in the last 50 years!! It is the incentives, the President abusing his Executive Authority, and other subliminal messaging that has CAUSED this invasion! Have you looked at the videos and pictures of these people? I have not seen ONE skinny person so far. ALL the women are over-weight - ALL OF THEM!!! These are NOT deprived people!! It may not be Utopia where they live, but their situation would most assuredly be better in their home countries than, say, being relocated in places like Chicago! Most of these people are BOYS, aged 12 through 17 years of age and are gangsters!

Sorry, Gonzo. As a former resident of that area, I can tell you that they are a ‘sponge’ for “issues”!

This arrogant spoiled brat is probably in favor of “One World Order”, as Soros would put it!
T : Those African ties seem strong . Think many are stuck on the slavery issue which is odd since most have much better lives here in America now than their African counterparts. Think much of that is due to the virulent International anti-Americanism / pro-Left Movement which has been so prevalent since the 60s. The Ayers, the Wrights, the Farrakhan Black Muslim attitudes which the MSM and the universities have been indoctrinating the world's young with for decades. Has had an impact .
i'd bet that he probably has no clue what that even means.
 July 9, 2014 at 8:48pm
The good news is, she’s paying attention to what’s going on. I wish more Americans would!
True that. If they did, we wouldn't be where we are now.
What's going on is that the administration is processing these young immigrants according to the law proposed and singed by Bush Jr. So how's about you direct your insight and demands to the GOP controlled house to eliminate that law so that these kids can be sent home immediately. But of course that would require them to actually do something beside just spew out ignorant rants.
Notice how she said “billions of dollars borrowed from the White House”? These people (and by “these people” I mean ignorant Obama supporters) actually think all of that money Obama spends comes from his own personal checking account.
Actually... wouldn't be surprised if all of Obama's supporters are against illegal immigrants because it will take away from the money that they would otherwise be getting from the government?
The dumb masses won't be bothered to pay attention until their creature comforts are affected. By then, it will be too late. Gradual...then sudden.
And no matter how bad it gets they would vote for Obama if he could run again. This is the definition of insanity. Voting for the same moronic Obama over and over again and expecting deferent results.
Bernadette Lancelin, welcome to the Tea Party!
You are not alone.
Well at least she's awake.
I was going to say I felt sorry for this woman because her life was about to hit a brick wall once the media started in on the "see how racist Americans are?" then I saw her picture.... How is the MSM going to deal with her being Black? I'm guessing totally ignore it.
Democrats to blacks: we don't need you, we have new slaves.
Blacks to Democrats: don't take away our social spending.
Republicans to Blacks: come join us! We support equality, fairness and hardwork.
Blacks to Republicans: F-you honky.
Now we have a supposed ally supporting the new slaves.
