  • Adolph Hitler walked in to power welcomed by millions of Germans for his strong stance against criminals and to restore law and order. He registered and confiscated the guns of his opponents. Then came the SS knocks in the middle of the night and people who voiced opposition just disappeared in the middle of the night.

  • The politicians may not have made the law (I do not know the particulars of this case) but the law may have been made without political input at all. Administrative law is where a bureau makes law and unless the legislative body revokes it it becomes law within 60 to 90 days after publication(depending on the jurisdiction). Further, there is no jury for a trial, but the judge is an administrative law judge so there is no check by peers as to guilt or innocence.
Bureaucracy is rule by the bureau; they make the law, they judge the law, and they collect the fines or send you to prison all without the expectation of process due in civil or criminal proceedings.
These bureaus need to be brought back into the civil and criminal system and held accountable for their actions.

  • The size of the march has no relation to the justice of the cause. There were large marches in support of Gandhi and in support of Hitler.

  • If a company has a higher profit margin on phones that are iphones, then does it not make sense for the company (and the sales staff) to push the higher profit margin device. To change this “problem” Apple would have to share more of the profits with those who sell the iphones.

  • Luke 22:36:He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.

Jesus was about not provoking others into anger, but he certainly stood with self defense.

  • If you catch it it makes you lazy.

  • So is socialism a social disease?

  • Bringing government and business together is the NAZI model If you actually talked to Nazis from WWII (I have) they said the same things and truly believed them. Belief in an evil idea does not make that idea any less evil.

  • A thief will rob you of your goods and stop for a good drunk. A person with a just cause will ruin you life be cause he will not stop. Give me a common thief instead of the UN.

  • As a designer of WMD I will weigh in. Women as special forces is good, but only if women are a small portion of the special forces. Women have lower physical strength than men, but better dexterity. The Special forces are about mission, not PC. For most missions men are superior, but certain missions require a woman’s touch. Excluding women is foolhardy, but the superior strength of men is a deciding factor in most missions. Dexterity being a factor in certain types of missions women should be included, but in our society rape is not considered an acceptable risk of a military mission, although death is ( I guess in death we meet out maker, but in rape you must relive the experience). We must have each person weigh the risk, and we, as a nation, must accept the horrors of war. Including a few women in special forces, including all woman teams, is necessary to keep our foes off balance. Women as special forces, have an advantage that some cultures expect women to be demure and discount the threat they may pose; this adds to the team effectiveness.
If the women are kept to small numbers, say between 5% and 10%, and reserved for missions where women are more effective for cultural or physical reasons, the women in special forces is a good idea. If the reasons for including women are social rather than mission specific, the women in special forces is a disaster waiting to happen.
