  @RNM, we are not Omamabots or LIVs. We actually educate ourselves on the issues, think for ourselves, have discussions with people of different viewpoints, and come to our own conclusions. And I never drink kool-aid (I hear the hopey-changey flavor is pretty nasty.)

  I was looking at the pic of her, thinking she’s a bit of a cow and living high on the hog. The next line in the story is about her “meatier” statements which are all bull.

  Wonder how she justifies her horrific statements about the Manson maniacs and what they did to Sharon Tate. I’m sure she values life as much today as she did then and equally as much as That Guy.

  I’m just your typical camera owner and had a basic 35mm when I went to Yosemite. I think it was at the overlook where you can see El Capitan and Bridalveil in one view. I held up my camera then lowered it, thinking no pic I could take would capture how truly awesome that place is. And I was out of film:(

  Color me skeptical, too, along with cynical. Dr. Carson is spot on about the need for an educated electorate. If he is sincere, he should team up with like-minded people in a major community outreach campaign. Talk about a White House run is premature to say the least.

  When my son was in elementary school, the newsletter posted a racial breakdown: 77% black, 23% other. I shared that as an anecdote many times as in OMG MY SON IS AN OTHER!

  That is what I mark on census forms for race…other…and fill in human. I’m sick to death of the politics of division.

  There was a blizzard in my neck of the woods many years ago. After the snow stopped falling and the wind quit blowing, the men got their shovels and cleared our street. The gubmint plow showed up about 5 days later. Glad we didn’t wait for them, might have turned into the Donner party by then;)

  And now they (USDA) are asking you, on your little piece of America, what exactly are you doing with it. This commercial certainly played to us boomers. We had best be up to the task of passing on our freedom. Chrysler is certainly disingenuous re: bailout but definitely struck a chord.

  I looked out my window yesterday to see 4 Dodge trucks in my yard, of varying years and sizes. Love me some Dodge boys.

  I have never watched that show and feel diminished for watching that clip. At least I now know to continue ignoring everything that references American Idol. President Idol is in my face every day anyway…forward.
