  If the Coal industry want’s to continue as a viable energysource why have they not updated their plants with Coal smoke abatement equipment? Such as installing misters in the smoke stacks to capture SO@ and create dilute sulphuric acid, running it through a retort will remeove excess water, and filtering throught charcole creates a concentraited Sulphuric Acid most widely used chemicle in Industry! This is chemestry 101, and when I pointed this out in 1973 to the Chemistry Class the professor gave full agreement to the concept! Now fast forward 40 years…King coal is about to religated to the ash heap. Why? Because stupid-think rules every facet of the Coal industry who demand they be able to poop into the atmosphere without regard to the effect on the rest of us….So get on with it Coal industry: Show us your stuff, show us clean energy from coal, the whole world is waiting for leaderhip, not petulant whining.
