  • Well, I was told by a friend long ago about this little story. It was a friend of his that did it. Guy gets pulled over because a headlight is out. Trooper is about to write a ticket. The guy tells him he will fix it the next day. Trooper just plain insists that he must write the ticket. Guy tries to explain that he didn’t know it was out and it was not even his car and showed him the proof. Trooper tells him that since he is driving, he is responsible for making sure the car is safe. That exchange goes on for a bit.

After the trooper hands the guy the ticket and is about to walk away, the guy tells him to hold on because we are not done yet. The guy then opens the door and steps out. The Trooper has a headlight out too. Only one side is blinking. Well, the guy told him that he had to write himself a ticket and that he wants to be in court the same day he is. Trooper refuses. Well, *47 works. The guy had video of the car with his phone. After the supervisor got there, the ticket was written. Trooper was no longer happy but may have made his quota since he got a two-fer.

Oh, the Trooper claimed he was not responsible since they had people to maintain the car. Anyone care to guess what the guy said? You driving it bud.

I think the kid did good. Maybe he will make a good cop one day.

  • The grand jury will decide if it was justified or not. One thing about this, it attaches double jeopardy. If the grand jury rules it justified, that’s the end of it for good. If I was in that man’s position, I would want to know now while the evidence is still good whether I would be charged or not. If they just wait, then the next prosecutor may try to file murder charges. This is no statute of limitations on murder.

  • That’s what I was thinking when I read this. If some stranger calls and asks me about guns, what guns? Now if some stranger comes to my door making trouble, he will know real quick if I have guns or not. He may not care in just a few seconds but he will know for that short period of time.

  • Should the 2nd Amendment Be Taken Literally?

    In reply to Female.

    @Conservative2,

You explain it the same way I see it. People tend to ignore the commas and their placement.

What gets me, it is so simple to just read the sentence and not make it into something complicated. It is in plain English. It is really simple to understand. People try to over think it.

  • People hate when I say this. Every gun in my home is loaded at all times. No small kids here so no worries there. If a crook breaks in tho, he’s got serious problems. He is about to meet my gun and could meet God VERY soon. He may be holy when he gets there tho. lol

  • People talk about getting away from Facebook, which I to would like to do. What are people going to? I already have Tagged, Myspace and some others but it seems Facebook is the only one that gets any traffic.

If someone has a good alternative to Facebook that is conservative friendly, I’d like a link so I can sign up. If there is none, maybe someone can come up with one?

  • Maybe they want to steal those so they can check out the map of people with gun permits. That way they know who is armed and what homes to avoid, unless they want to steal the guns while the people are at work.

  • If a teacher or staff is going to be armed, I would rather they volunteer. I believe there would be plenty of them that would too. There was 6 that gave their lives to protect those kids the other day. I bet those 6 and likely 6 more would have volunteered to stop it and live instead of dying trying.

Yea, prohibition worked out great didn’t it? We got cities like Chicago and people like Al Capone. Yep, worked out great. This paragraph contains sarcasm. First one was serious tho.

  • If you want to claim that muskets are all the 2nd Amendment is about. Then the 1st Amendment is only about pen and paper. No internet. No telephone. Nothing modern. If it didn’t exist back in the late 1700′s, it doesn’t apply.

Sort of makes you look silly doesn’t it?

The 2nd Amendment says “arms” not muskets. It also says “shall not be infringed” too.

  • I never was big on the anonymous group but when they went after the Westboro Church folks, that was really cool. They been shouting at people about their ways for a long while and now, they get a taste of what they been dishing out.
