  • Someone please explain something to me. Okay, so many people, mainly Christians it seems, believe that people are not born homosexual and they actually choose a homosexual lifestyle and life even though gay people dont have the same rights as hetero’s, gay people are bullied and/or beat up often in high-school and even in adulthood other adults can be incredibly cruel and discriminatory towards the gay person. Being gay in the USA seems like it is a much more difficult and anxiety-prone life when compared to my and others hetero lifes.
OK. so many people say that being gay is a voluntary choice made by some sexual deviant and they can change to being hetero if they really want to.
So, please tell me the answer to this. The only way the human species or any species for that matter can keep their population healthy is if they are hetero and procreate to produce offspring to keep their population from becoming extinct. And being gay is a choice made by a sexual deviant sinner. If all this is true, and people are not born gay possibly due to brain chemistry differences or DNA differences, or for any number of potential medical reasons. If this is all true, how come there are instances of homosexuality in wild animals? There are instances of animals in zoo’s that do not mate with the opposite sex and they have sex or at least try to have sex with their own gender? There also has been reports of totally wild animals being gay. Is this their deviant choice? I doubt that.

  • That is one large sturgeon! I hear that their population numbers are slowly getting a little better. I hope that it continues to grow in population so that fishermen (and women!) are able to catch them for decades and centuries to come! I wonder if that fish was male or female? Sturgeon caviar is delicious!! However, the brining process is messy and delicate. But the end result is a great reward! I just love good caviar on russian blini’s [beluga, osetra, sevruga]. It is way better then other types of ‘caviar’ such as salmon roe, whitefish, or any of the other fish roe sold as ‘caviar’. The only problem is the damn price!

  • The IPCC concurs that the Earth does undergo natural climate fluctuations due to a host of physical variables which have absolutely nothing to do with man. This is not news. It has been known for quite some time now that the Earth has periods of excessive glaciation (little to large Ice Ages) and interglacial periods of warming (from mild to excessive). However, the fact that the Medieval Warming event might have been a global event instead of localized does not contradict nor diminish the fact that we humans are releasing tons and tons of CO2 into the Earths atmosphere. Given the constraints of the Earths atmosphere, with hard boundaries comprised of the Earths surface [rock-gravel-soil and liquid water-ice] and the upper climactic boundary composed of the contact between the thermosphere and exosphere, it is easily proven that increases in CO2 within these bounds causes an increase in surface temperatures.

So where is the big problem? This study in no way diminishes the IPCC analyses and conclusions.

  • The data and one of the conclusions actually lend more credibility to the somewhat localized area of warming during the Medieval warming period rather then the whole planet experiencing a warming period. People who already have decided on ‘an answer’ and a ‘highly politicized answer to boot’ to a scientific exploration, do not have the ability to subjectively look at and analyze scientific data.

Look here at this direct quote:

“We showed that the Northern European climate events influenced climate conditions in Antarctica,” Lu says.

That’s GREAT! We now have a proxy to help determine approximate O16/O18 ratios which in turn will help determine the approximate temperature of NORTHERN EUROPE AND ANTARCTICA. This in turn does NOT help determine GLOBAL TEMPERATURES.

  • I saw Lawrence’s show last night and it was very funny that the wimpy lawyer got up and left! He reminded me of what George Dubya Bushie must have looked like when he ran away from the military during the Vietnam War!

Thank god for accurate and thorough journalists like Lawrence O’Donnell and Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews!!

  • Dear Ms. Barack Stalin:

There is no such thing as the mafia. The mafia exists only in the imagination of authors and screenwriters. Back in the day, yo, when Gotti ran things from his Ozone Park, Queens, NYC family home and Carmine Soppresata and Vinnie Botchagaloop were muscling the Gambino’s and the Bonanno’s, man, that was some badazz time to be jacked with the Cosa Nostra in EnWhySee [or NYC to all you country bumkins out there]. I can still smell crazy Paulies gravy simmering on the stove…. but I digress.

Oh yeah, there aint no more mafia since the teflon Don done died. And this fireman robbing city coffers [without sending me my 18% cut] deserves to be whacked — Dormire con i pesci…..

  • C & C Antiques – Lets start with you and your family; kill them all and let God sort it out.

If the rest of your family is as racist as you are, you will likely share a nice hot corner of Hell!

  • Who is Moochelle? Is Moochelle your mom/dad? So thats why you are a classless POS.

  • Thank goodness that Cheney had medical insurance even though he is not working anymore!

And in other news, I hear that George Bush is still on the organ waiting list for a brain transplant.

  • Even though this law was probably on the books since the 1920′s, I bet that many here will blame president Obama!

And in other news, there is this REAL LAW — In Maine, It’s Illegal To Have Christmas Decorations Up After Jan. 14….

So you can blame Obama for this one as well! And I bet that many a Maine policeman will be checking homes in Maine on January 15th so you all better take down your Christmas decorations!!! BwaHHHH
