  Saint Nicholas was the bishop of Myra (modern day Turkey) in the fourth century. Legends say he anonymously gave money to poor families, widows, and especially children and orphans. Stories of his generosity encouraged others to give at this time of year.

  Reformers felt Nicholas was too closely tied to the Catholic church, being that he was a Catholic bishop and all, so they came up with their own names for him.

  The name Santa Claus comes from the Dutch name Sinter Klass.

  But no matter what his origin, the spirit of peace on earth and good will toward men has been thrown out the window by greed, pettiness, and a reason for hate-filled idiots to spit in the face of Christians.

  Thanks a lot Obama. We didn’t have enough stress going on between these two groups before. You had to fly in, give a “pep” speech to the union workers then fly back to the safety of DC leaving the people of Michigan to deal with the the problem. Now your democrat flunkies are spouting about drawing blood from the floor of our senate.
  Which really gets to me that they are tweeting during session in the first place. Someone should take their phones away like they do high school kids if they can’t show greater discipline than this.

  This also fits perfectly with what a poster said in the earlier Egypt story of Morsi/Brotherhood and Obama/Union.

  Since the democrats want to do away with tax deductions, if the SCOTUS grants homosexuals the right to get married, they should be against giving them tax breaks. This leads me to wonder, without the tax breaks and other married benefits would they still want care about their forming a legal union? I hear a lot more about homosexuals complaining about the legal and benefit rights they are missing out on then how they want to show their everlasting love and devotion to one another.

  I also have to wonder if they will be so thrilled with the legal marriage when they get to join in the joyous fun of divorce. Hate. Resentment. Splitting all your stuff. Nasty custody battles. Court ordered alimony and child support payments. I bet they won’t find the court system they love to run to so much fun then.

  Sure, this will work great if you have no children, (population control), limited friends, want to live in a box where you trust the government to provide all you needs because you can’t grow your own food, RENT instead of own, because personal property ownership goes against the collective.

  If the little white lie of allowing children to believe in the fantasy of Santa Clause is a terrible thing, then men should be off the hook from now on when they have to answer the question asked by grown women:

  Even if he didn’t know what was taking place while he was snapping the photos, the man is a freelance photographer. He knew right after a man had been killed. He knew he took pictures. Does anyone really believe he didn’t look to see if he’d got a shot to sell?

  Coleman Young and the Detroit city council got Detroit into the trouble it is in for all being incredibly corrupt. They refused to allow a state emergency manager to come in, because they knew the depth of kickbacks, bribes, and other illegal activities would be discovered and stuffing their pockets would end. Some which has started coming out.

  The city is now in even deeper trouble because they had to admit they are in even deeper debt than they first released. The state won’t bail them out. Now they want their god Obama to save them. To bad. The election is over. He doesn’t need your support anymore.
