  • Don’t have anything that could hit the U.S.? Really? What about their ability to put something into orbit? All they have to do is put a nuke in orbit, wait until it passes over the U. S. and then drop it into the atmosphere and explode it causing an EMP attack that cripples us. As for them knowing they would be destroyed, don’t bank on it. Crazy people have come to power in many nations and do lot so stupid things. Don’t think they are sane enough not to do something. This should not be taken lightly.

  • You are right and Mil-dot is wrong. The fact is that a BB gun is considered a weapon by law enforcement and the courts. While the child should have had gun training to be using any type of weapon (yes, I know he’s 7 years old, but I had gun training at that age before I got my first gun and it taught me how to handle a weapon), charging him with a felony is sad because it will do no good and only damage his life. Making his parents get him gun safety training would be far more useful.

But on another point, BB guns are considered weapons that is why ex-felons are not allowed to own them. Basically anything considered a weapon cannot be owned by them. That includes BB guns, knives with blades longer than 3″, except kitchen utensils, archery equipment, etc. They cannot even be in the possession of a bullet. Technically they are not even allowed to be at someone’s home who owns such weapons, even if the weapons don’t work (i.e.; a gun without a firing pin would be considered illegal for them to be around). There needs to be a different system for handling problems for both under age youth and even young adults that doesn’t impact their chances for a productive life in the future.

  • “prolly?” What the heck does “prolly” mean?

  • What does the fact that she has a Jewish name have to do with it? That kind of comment not only displays your own bias against someone just because they have a name that is traditionally Jewish (and by the way, it could be her married name for all you know). If you’re going to attack someone base your condemnation on facts about things they’ve done, otherwise you sound like a liberal with no substance to your criticisms.

BIGHONKEY80 – Obviously you have no understanding of inflation and history. But then again, how could we expect someone who can’t even spell to understand such things?

  • Much of what you say makes sense except that you contradict yourself when you don’t expect them to repent of their sin. If they were former homosexuals, for example, who had repented of their sin and were trying to live a sinless life, then they would fit the description of someone who could be Christian. But they cannot follow Jesus unless they repent of their sin and work to live a life without sin. And if you knew anything about the Metropolitan churches around the country you’d know that they do not preach truth, but error. This story is no surprise considering the source. Remember that we’re dealing with a secular news source so we can’t expect them to understand what a Christian is even if they claim to be Christians. They have shown that they are not and don’t understand Christianity. Stories like this just reinforce how badly this world needs our prayers and love to bring them to the truth and out of sin.

His name is Douglas Blunt and they’ve been married for some time. This isn’t her first child with him. But then it’s obvious that you don’t pay attention. Every article about someone doesn’t have to explain every detail of their personal lives to prove that they are moral people.

  • Andrew 36 – Since there isn’t a “reply” button on your post I’ll have to reply to you here. The difference is nothing because taking an innocent life is taking an innocent life. If you are still of the antiquated belief that has long since been shown to be wrong that a baby in the womb isn’t human, then I feel sorry for you. The taking of all the innocent babies’ lives since Roe v. Wade in America will be one of the main causes of our demise.

  • Sad that you use terms that you know nothing about. Fascism is a terrible thing, but you use the term loosely, inaccurately, and in doing so prove your own lack of understanding of history.

  • This is to MODERATIONISBEST: Actually you’re the one who is wrong. We may or may not see the end of the world in our lifetimes, but rejecting the possibility is as foolish as being adamant that it will happen in our lifetimes. The fact is that we never know when the end of our lives will come, let alone the end of the world. We should be ready at any moment to face it. But I suspect that your arrogance is what controls you and you think you’re “above all that nonsense” and therefore reject it. For you, sir or madam, I feel sorrow for you as it is clear you will not be ready to meet your maker when that day comes.
