  • “Sen. Wicker is ideologically opposed to President Obama. As of this writing, it’s a mystery why the two of them were sent poisoned letters.”

I will venture a guess… Because the man who sent the letters is deranged! What is our obsession with trying to make sense of the absurd?

  • Why be ashamed for the Conservatives who did not vote? It is more shameful that Conservatives had so few options to vote for in the first place.

Even more shameful than that was to watch the Republican party eat its own, which it continues to do. The new Rove Super PAC? That is just an organization that will allow Rove and the establishment Republicans to do what they would do anyway.

Whatever you may think of the comments made by Todd Akin, it was Rove and the Republican establishment, including Ann Coulter, Reince Preibus and all the way up to the candidate for POTUS, Mitt Romney, who threw hand grenades into the fire. They tried to strongarm Akin out of the race, subverting the will of the Missouri Republicans who nominated him. They then defunded his campaign, and attacked him mercilessly in the media – and we all know how much the media loves to report on Repubs attacking Repubs…

They figured out too late that Akin was still one of their best shots to pick up seats in the Senate. What they still have not figured out is that this is why so many Conservatives stayed home. Personally, I still voted, but there was sure no Romney sticker on my car. This Republican party that Rove is trying to fashion is sick, and one I will not support.

  • The only failing of this ad is the setup time. Critics will say she had time to call the police. This would be a valid criticism. The ad either needs to be shortened to show only one knock on the door followed by a break-in, or the ad should include the step of the woman calling the police. Either scenario would make a great case: 1) protection for when there is no time to call the police, or 2) protection while waiting for help to arrive.
As it is, this ad plays upon the notion that the gun is the only option. As the ad unfolds, this is clearly not the case. Honestly, this is the worst of the three ads.

  • This is not #Jeopardy. It is about guessing the letters in order to solve the puzzle. If the G had not yet been on the board, then there is a case to be made about not solving the puzzle. The G was already there. I agree with the person who commented about the show getting overly-technical regarding enunciation. Many words have soft letters that are frequently omitted in many dialects. If WOF applied this rule equally at all times, I would be all for it, and it would actually make the show more interesting. Especially if they applied the rule to certain minorities… It is a slippery slope they have chosen to tread, isn’t it?

  • I am offended that muslims sodomized and killed a US diplomat and his aides, after they stormed our embassy (an act of war in itself), removed/burned our flag and raised a flag used by Al Qaeda over our embassy. Let’s compare the offenses committed against islam against those they commit for islam… Their offenses truly do warrant their deaths, yet our weak, feeble, muslim-friendly occupier of the Oval Office goes on Letterman and attacks Mitt Romney. How is the race for president even close? Where are you America?

  • Since when is it an “attack ad” to use a candidate’s own words and record, in context? Reagan ran aggressive and forceful campaigns, and the force behind them was truth. When he represented an opponent’s position or record, he did so with accuracy. In this political climate, we cannot be afraid to shine the light of truth on fakes. Romney is a fake, and he is a dirty politician to boot. He misrepresents his opponents’ positions and statements – truth is not a barrier or a guide. He is everything we have come to loathe in politicians.

  • I am moved to tears… (No, this isn’t Glenn Beck!)
Those veterans / bikers touched the life of that young man in a very profound way. Like he said, he will never forget it. I am proud of Cody. I am proud of those bikers and veterans. I am proud of America.

  • Great point! Do we even need to ask what the libs would do if Beck or Rush called a dem candidate a bitch or bastard, and said they were ‘going to hell’ over the radio – let alone on national television? The outcry would be national headlines, with calls for termination.
Just shows how Conservatives truly get free speech. Let people like Behar continue with their hate-filled rants, so everyone can see the true faces of tyranny.

  • This woman is so irrelevant. Street fighter? Perhaps in a food fight.
The sad thing is that there are so many people in America who have been dumbed-down by this type of arrogant ignorance.
Ms. Behar, if someone is an “undocumented worker” when the law requires “documentation, then that makes them “illegal.” “Illegal” = “criminal.”
It is not racism to enforce the law.
