Obama Takes Shot at Gun Groups While Outlining New Firearms Laws He Supports: ‘Ginning Up Fear’
January 14, 2013 at 2:24pm
“…but part of the challenge that we confront is that even the slightest hint of some sensible, responsible legislation in this area fans this notion that somehow, ‘here it comes,’ and that everybody’s guns are going to be taken away. It’s unfortunate, but that’s the case.” Take note of the attempt to frame it as though supporters of the second amendment are crazily opposing these “solutions” because we believe, crazily, “everybody’s guns are going to be taken away”. While some agree that could happen, we all primarily disagree with their interpretation of the second amendment and the authority they have with regard to it. They’re all afraid to admit that they can not prevent evil so they put on a show. Losers.
No Time Wasted: Dems Plan to Introduce High-Capacity Magazine Ban on First Day of Congressional Session

Clearly, if exemptions are “needed”, then the law is unconstitutional. If it’s legal for law enforcement, it’s legal for any law abiding citizen. Thanks.
NY Paper Broke No Laws With Gun Owner Map — But Is It Ever Ethical to Publish Personal Info to Push an Agenda?
December 27, 2012 at 10:52pm
This is clearly an invasion of privacy. Obviously, if getting a license simply to own a firearm in this state results in it being legal to publish the owner’s name and address, the law requiring said license should be immediately challenged and declared unconstitutional. Clearly an infringement and easy to show. No one has the right to know what I own, for various reasons. ESPECIALLY THE UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES. Please quote the exact law, code or regulation you are quoting next time so we can see what needs to be fixed. Simply quoting Mr. Freeman without citing the law was lazy. Furthermore, “we felt sharing as much information as we could about gun ownership in our area was important in the aftermath of the Newtown shootings.” Give me a break. Be honest Cyndee, (great stage name, real clever) you printed them simply TO BE controversial. Pathetic. Damn humans.

Wow, Nuttass, resorting to profanity for effect? Dumbass. You, sir, are a flaming hypocrite. Your analogy about arming the fire fighters was, at best, a 3rd grade attempt to twist the argument. Obviously that type of crime IS NOT PREVENTABLE YOU DUMBASS! You simply can not outlaw evil you dumbass. None of you armed-guard protected hypocrites get it, do you? Please tell us what “gun control” would have prevented that psychopath from shooting at those firefighters you dumbass?

Mr. Scott did make this speech. But it was during testimony on May 27, 1999 before the Subcommittee on Crime of the House Judiciary Committee. It was the first of many similar talks he has delivered on the subject. He was not in front of the Subcommittee on Crime of the House Judiciary Committee recently.
