Judge Rules Against Ariz. Sheriff Joe Arpaio
May 25, 2013 at 1:48pm
“For too long the sheriff has been victimizing the people he’s meant to serve with his discriminatory policy,” said Cecillia D. Wang, director of the ACLU Immigrants’ Right Project. The great mass of diluted of whom Wang is a member are so confused (but powerful) that they believe that Sheriff Joe is meant to serve illegals and criminals.
Should Torture Be Used to Extract Lifesaving Info From Suspected Terrorists — Including Americans?
April 30, 2013 at 10:51pm
When a country like the US has a broken immigration policy, the term “American” has a diminished meaning. So, when someone asks whether a US “citizen” should be treated differently, what does it mean? – a “citizen” who was naturalized by a President on a Friday night? If a citizen is defined on the whim of a destructive President, should the rights be afforded in the same way?
These Four Sheriffs Are Taking a Bold Stand Against Gun Control: ‘An Unarmed Public Is a Tyrant’s Playground’

Sheriff D’Agostini of El Dorado (Northern California) may be added to this list. Having sent a civil, but firm letter to the Vice President (who supports a few blasts from a shotgun), D’Agostini and others are – in a time when law-abiding Americans are increasingly concerned about losing our rights, of being reported and of finding ourselves at odds with the same local people sworn to protect us – shoring up not only our rights but are re-enforcing our trust in their departments.

This is very direct and blunt language and makes very serious charges. But the implications of this comment is probably accurate.

I agree. Take enough pictures of anyone over this course of time and you’ll capture some unflattering images.
Anchorage International Airport Evacuated After Man References a Bomb in His Checked Luggage (Update: A ‘Bad Joke’)
October 14, 2012 at 3:35pm
Correct. Arrest a joke while not considering context or person. I have little support for an organization that behaves in such a consistently unprofessional manner; one charged with protection, but one which invests efforts in obviously the wrong direction and so, ironically failing in its duty. TSA: you are in the service business.

Respectfully, we in the US have up a lot of our sovereignty in the past 4 years, too.
More than 50 Gas Stations in NJ, PA Raise Price of Gas to Over $8 in Protest

I remember 1974. And how we were going to run out of fuel. And how the cooling of the earth would leave France under a sheet of ice. I wonder why we can’t learn from the past?
