Come on! Even YOU, Mr. Street, KNOW there is a difference between a CONSTITUTIONAL exercise of eminent domain and what DONALD TRUMP tried to do so he could build a parking lot!!! Give us all a break and quit trying to find anything that will take down Ted Cruz!

Wait a minute!!!! The Jewish lady say, invoke Christ silently. It doesn’t lose any power… is she admitting that there is power in invoking the name of Christ? And if so, doesn’t that question her Jewish faith???? IDIOTS!!!
Excuse me, but Jesus IS Jewish. All the discipels were Jewish, the Apostle Paul was Jewish.

My love and respect for Ann just fell through the floor. She is another one that JUST DOESN’T GET IT!

Again, Dairy Queen is very successful because it carefully chooses its locations. It is smart enough to get out of places where there is a restaurant over-saturation and has cornered the market of locations in small towns.
February 20, 2014 at 9:24am
However, Dairy Queen is one of the most successful chains because the carefully pick their location. A whole lot are located in small towns which may not have any other restaurant. See: Spur, Texas, etc. Dairy Queen has a successful menu and, hey, who doesn’t love Dairy Queens steak fingers!!! And how about those Blizzards. Dairy Queen was the first to have candy and flavors mixed up in their soft-serve. I would say that was a pretty good decision!

EXACTLY my thoughts and comment!!! Instead of bashing the kid or making smart arse remarks (Libertyis obviously NOT your middle name), everyone should the applauding this kid!!
February 20, 2014 at 9:17am
I cannot believe some of the snarkey remarks here. Here you have a young man who is trying to do exactly what most of you here believe in, that being personal responsibility and making something of himself, and a lot of you are making smart a.. remarks about him??? Shame on you.
Glenn, this would be a great investment for you or for Stu or Pat. It would be a relatively small investment that has already proven itself to be a successful investment.
I'm afraid it wouldn't be that small. Start up capital for a project like this is in the 500k range potentially. Not everyone can take a shot like this. He might get mileage out of a kickstarter or Indiegogo project though.
"I cannot believe some of the snarkey remarks here. Here you have a young man who is trying to do exactly what most of you here believe in, ...."
The key word is "most".

You are a moron! Pure and Simple. You say Liberty is your middle name but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. You are a big government loving liberal who wants to be controlled. In fact, you are begging to be controlled!

Ok, seculars, if you don’t want children volunteering with a group that actually HELPS the poor, then you, seculars, create programs that helps the poor and invite the children to come and volunteer. But, guess what, you won’t because you don’t have the Christian love for your fellow man and the desire to help those less fortunate. You want to spew your hatred toward Christianity yet you have nothing to offer as an alternative to assist the poor because that is not what you stand for, that is not what you want to do. You want to live your lives interfering in others lives but won’t lift a finger to show any compassion toward others. You are pure evil.
No what's evil is indoctrinating children to accept the morality of altruism. This has nothing to do with charity and everything to do with teaching children they're sacrificial animals for the sake of the collective. Same philosophy of all the rotten collectivists throughout the 20th century. This dribble coming from the right is why we've gone from a country of individual rights to societal rights. In other words, right wing fundamentalists are collectivists too. Your entire comment wreaks of collectivist BS.
I would be deeply offended if our local government school sent the kids to a scientology church for some life-building skills.
Just: There is difference between " the dribble coming from the right " you mention versus that of the left who are true collectivists. The right ( I assume you mean those who are Christians ) believe in the dignity and the innate human rights of the individual which are given by God , not given by the state nor can be taken away by the state. The lefty collectivists believe that the state is the giver of rights which the state can also take away. A big difference in the ultimate freedoms and protections of the individual. This also differentiates between a Marxist and a Christian. Free will versus force is also part of this.
mdlwoods… I totally agree. They will not do anything to show compassion because they are incapable of it. In the words of Richard Dawkins: “In the universe of blind physical forces and genetic replication, some people are going to get hurt, and other people are going to get lucky; and you won’t find any rhyme or reason to it, nor any justice. The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is at the bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil and no good. Nothing but blind pitiless indifference. DNA neither knows nor cares. DNA just is, and we dance to its music.”
Richard Dawkins, The Selfish Gene (New York: Oxford University Press, 1976), 133.
Religious expression is unnatural to them and goes against their theory of "blind pitiless indifference." In protesting however, they are being hypocritical to that theory. Also, if there is to be any "charity" from them, it must be coerced through government taxation and redistribution or Communism. With God however: 2 Cor 9:7 (Look it up). Blind physical forces are incapable of the freedom of choice and as a result, they are also incapable of love. How sad. I pray for them.

Me too! I grew up in Midland, Texas, and we used to hunt those elusive jackalopes all the time. Funny, the only one we were ever able to find was the giant fiberglass one they have in Odessa!

I have the Blaze on TV and Internet. I love it! I also have DISH. I love DISH. I suggest that any of you who do not have the Blaze, check into DISH. I rarely ever have any problems. Their DVR is great (I am in process of getting a Hopper..wow! 2000 hours of recording! I will be in heaven!) Switch to DISH and enjoy the Blaze! Teach Comcast, TimeWarner and those other idiot providers a lesson!
Indeed, get away from Austin, Houston and most of Dallas, and you will discover Texas.... These other places draw prog vermin from all over.
San Antonio was my first thought

This just shows how evil and disgusting the left is. When they can criticize and bash our fallen soldiers who, but for the left’s ‘POLITICAL CORRECTNESS ON THE BATTLEFIELD’ rules, they would not have died!!! I despise those who are trying to make this movie into something bad. They are pond scum! No. they are lower than pond scum. They are the bacteria on the amoebas in the pond scum!!!
