  No wonder we are so screwed up…always interesting to see what types of creatures wander the halls of Congress (besides Barney Frank chasing young male staffers, that is!).

  Here are some highlights from her Wiki entry:

  - DeLauro is one of the most Liberal members of the House. She is a founding member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.
  - DeLauro supports the use of federal subsidies for abortion procedures.
  - She strongly supports and has consistently voted for increased gun control in the United States
  - DeLauro voted against HR 6099, a bill that would require abortion providers to follow specific procedures and formalities before performing abortions.
  - She also voted no in 2006 on a bill that makes the transportation of pregnant women under the age of 18 across state lines in order to obtain an abortion illegal
  - She is close friends with former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.
  - DeLauro is one of the fifty richest members of Congress

  Hopefully the Blaze will print the rest of the story – goodness knows the mainstream media won’t.

  The Blaze needs to update and/or do a better job of vetting stories of this type..

  The So Cal Tax Revolt Coalition released this statement, via Lipstick Underground (see http://www.socaltaxrevoltcoalition.org/18.html):

  Kobulnicky is not a member, spokesman or volunteer with the group. The whole story was made up by the media.

  Accused Rapist, Michael John Kobulnicky, Not Spokesperson, Member, or Volunteer for Original San Diego Tea Party Organizers, So Cal Tax Revolt Coalition

  We are not affiliated with, nor have we worked with the newer organization titled “San Diego Tea Party.” We are not familiar with self-proclaimed “spokesperson” for that organization, Michael John Kobulnicky of Lemon Grove. He has never been an organizer, speaker, or volunteer for our company or events. We do not know what his actual involvement is with the other tea party organization. We are not familiar with the Mission Valley Tea Party that Kobulnicky reported to have founded.
