  As far as I can see…nothing is shameful anymore..absolutely nothing. It’s all do what you want, when you want, to or with whomever you want. anything goes…it is very sad. There are no morals, no ethics. and the younger generation is ok with this…I was told just this past week that not everyone thinks like me (duh)…morals are different now and people should be able to do what they want………………..wow. God help us all

  what is wrong with these people who publish this stuff?? Do they not have the brains that God gave them…or do they just choose not to use them??? All this info like who has guns, which schools are protected…is a private matter. It is not anybody else’s business….THINK before you publish info on other people.

  she has been on that committee for 20+ years??? that is WAY too long…time to get the hell out and do something useful….and to BULLITT2008,…we ,can’t wait to move out of “this” madness …..I live in Illinois :( ..as soon as I retire we are so out of here…3 years and 9 months and counting

  OMG I cant believe some of these comments…really people..some of you are just ignorant…and why would you quote scripture when talking about a speeding ticket?? No matter what you are doing..driving the limit, a little under, a little over or ALOT over…someone will want to pass you. Everyone is in a hurry..and I admit I routinely drive slightly (?) over the limit, in the left lane because around here (Illinois) all the roads are ****. Especially the right lanes due to the increased amount of overweight trucks…so for us the left is much safer, and much smoother. HOWEVER if someone is coming up on me obviously going faster than me, I move over, let them pass, then I move back. Common courtesy people….common courtesy. Also if I come up on someone going 50 or 55 in the left lane…I just pass them on the right……

  I know people in Illinois who got cut from $500 per month to $200-$300 per month or got cut off completely…and they have 2 or 3 kids under 12. These are people who are working but can’t get enough hours to make ends meet…it’s sad that there is so much fraud in the system. I’m sure you could find people who would gladly work for free to weed these thieves OUT of the system. Anyone with money left on the card at the end of the month obviously doesn’t need the money…just sayin’

  Hans Hunt…I applaud you for speaking your mind..(and I agree with you 100%). It’s nice to see a politician say what he thinks …especially when he is right. I live in Illinois so you know what I am going through :(. We are about 60 miles south of Chicago, so people move out to these small towns to get away from the ******** in the city…then they start bitching about it and want to change us to make us like the big city.

  I’m sorry but “shoot first and ask questions later” is EXACTLY what you do if they break into your house to steal your stuff..or worse yet- hurt you….the fact that he was or wasn’t armed has nothing to do with anything. YOUR home is YOUR castle…his ass does NOT belong there. I certainly would not check him out first to see what kind of weapon he had. Maybe he would grab a baseball bat or a knife or come at you with his bare hands…if you just shoot his ass, it’s over
