  Actually since it is illegal in many states for a ‘adult’ to be dating a ‘child’ (16 and below(according to the article)) this is news. And it’s illegal whether or not we are talking about male ..male, male..female, or female…female.

  The pedophile is a criminal, and deserved to be arrested. I applaud the family for protecting their child.

  I think perhaps, if the couple were not ‘same sex’ …you would not have been so ‘flippant’ in your reply.

  The parents were protecting their child. The fact is the woman in question is legally an adult, her girlfriend? She’s only 15. That’s statutory rape in many of the states.

  If it were a male who was dating a female student, this wouldn’t be news.

  Yet because the pedophile is female, and dating a under aged female the victim’s family is therefore described as bigoted religious zeolites.

  So this isn’t just pedophilia now, now the offenses of Libel, slander, defamation of character, and even wrongful prosecution can be added to the Pedophile and it’s family’s misdeeds.

  The fact is IF the pedophile had dated someone of the age of consent (male or female),and then they were persecuted; then what the girl’s family did to protect her would indeed be a crime.

  But in this case, the criminal is in fact the pedophile … not the victim, and certainly not her parents!

  Grisham, 1491 is spot on about this. The officer was completely out of line. What is outrageous to me is listening to blaze LAUGH about this entire matter as though it’s a JOKE to be falsely accused of a crime, have your miranda rights completely ignored, and have your firearm wrongly confiscated leaving you and a whole bunch of kids completely defenseless to wild boars and coyotes!

  I agree 1491, Grisham needs to sue, and demand justice. Don’t expect it, because the PIGS in Temple, TX will not comply. Demand it! Sue!

  Violation of miranda act
  Violation of civil rights
  Violation of 2nd amdt rights
  denial of due process
  assassination of character
  Libel
  Slander

  I’m certain a good lawyer could think of more charges.
