  LIZ…..Please stick to something you know about. Stereotyping all motorcyclists as having “loud” motorcycles is typical of someone who knows little-to-nothing about the motorcycle world.
  I have two street bikes, and both are quiet…with factory exhaust systems. We use less gas, and create less pollution and traffic congestion than cars.
  Don’t think all people who ride bikes have Harleys with after-market exhaust systems. I do agree that they are loud, and actually don’t appreciate the image they give to non-motorcyclists like you.

  BTW…..you will never see a large market for useless battery-powered bikes. I can ride my quiet touring bike home to NJ from Illinois in one day. As motorcycle announcer Donnie Bargman would say….”Try THAT…. on a battery bike, Ha……Ha…..Ha!

  Hope you watched the 5:08 sec video! It is very relevant to the discussions going on about gun control and this story, don’t you think?
  The video was filmed in 1983. Just 30 years ago. If you just listen from .30-.56 you will know all you need to know about how we could even be considering banning weapons from law-abiding citizens when we already know the lawless will always have their weapons.
