I actually had to stop eating a majority of the prepackaged foods. Red dye #40 knocks me in my hiney for about 3 days with a migraine. And then all the other stuff that’s in it, I don’t know what it it is, but I get the most excruciating body aches. Its almost as if something like a chemical is building up in my body. I used to do cleanses and I would feel fine afterwards. But several days after going back to a “regular” diet I got body aches again. So I have basically given up on pre-packaged foods. Please stop feeding this stuff to your kids and your selves. They say its safe….but its not. Don’t eat it!

i’ve been trying to talk my hubby into going back to the mountain…obviously ….I am still here! On a serious note, I go back home to the mountain at least once a year. No phone, no electric, no cars. The big joke???? Yes, there is running water…you have to run to go get it!!!! LMAO!!! We get the weirdest looks from new comers!!! Last year we made it up half way. There was a big pine tree over the road. While trying to move it, Daddy had a heart attack. Had to take him down and rush to the clinic. From there they took him to the hospital in Santa Fe for surgery. Thankfully he survived. If that pine tree had not been there, we would of been snowed in and he wouldn’t of made it.
As for the natives, the man in the article is right, the natives will make contact on there own and they must be respected. I really hope the rest of the tribe didn’t get it. The outside world should have known better. This has happened before.

Common core is not only about evolution vs/and/or creationism. all of the subjects stink. They aren’t taught right nor is a lot of information correct. Some of the history has been rewritten to suit an agenda. The math is so out of sorts that not even parents guardians or TEACHERS get it.

We chose to homeschool, we do lessons 4 days per week for 2 hours per day and our child is about a half of a year ahead of her peers. All because she can go at a pace that suits her needs and she is not held back by the rest of the classroom.

Common Core is everywhere. I homeschool my youngest. I went to the education store to get some books and just about every book said common core, core standards, state standards, and the new one is common core modes. One of the teachers in the store was raving about common core modes. I don’t know why the “modes” was added but no thank you! I sifted through the books and thankfully able to find something that wasn’t common core associated and looked through it to make sure the info was correct and challenging. I has wanted to ask the teacher why she was raving about common core modes, but I unfortunately kept my mouth shut. And this is here in Texas where they “supposedly” are not implementing common core!

    reaching…
I am an atheist…however…I see no harm in teaching the bible. The bible has many morals and values in which to live by. I do not approve of the teaching of homosexuality, socialism, common core, and especially disapprove of letting them tell the children where the nearest planned parenthood is. (they aren’t planning parenthood, they’re killing parenthood and the child’s right to life). Here in Texas, schools are allowed to teach from the bible for historical purposes. There are so many stupid atheists out there. I don’t think many atheists realize what they are doing to their own religious rights as well as others.

So many people say “that cant happen here. We are American, we are beyond that. We have evolved in the last century” I have to explain that we are a young country. History has a tendency of repeating itself, and we have the job of making sure that history does not repeat here. There is always a tyrant ready to push his mentally ill agenda on the people. All it takes is one person to believe that mentally ill agenda, spread the word and the rest follow.

go to donpotter.net and see how children used to learn. I homeschool my youngest. I use these books for oral math. I went to the local education store and amazon to look for math books for next year and all I see is common core…core knowledge. And we are in Texas. Texas opted out of common core….supposedly. So if you want to educate your children….use older books and supplement with online worksheets if necessary.
