  If I still had school-age kids, I’d home school them. Yes, I know that’s not supposed to prevent the state from imposing the CSCOPE lesson plans. But guess what? They can’t possible monitor you all the time. “Kids, this morning I’m going to zip through some junk that neither I nor any right-thinking American believes, and if you have to respond to it on a test, I’ll tell you how. If we have an inspector here, we’ll just play along, okay? But then I’ll teach you the truth.”

  Some antidepressants can have suicidal side effects, but most do not. I hope you aren’t advocating stopping use of antidepressants. They must be carefully monitored, but there are even worse effects without their use…more suicides.

  Smart move. There are a growing number of states where I could not live. I used to think Colorado would be nice, but not any more. I grew up in California — nuff said. Love Redmond, WA, but that’s going down hill at warp speed. Thank God for Texas!
