  I prefer my 10 mm Colt Delta Elites as a handgun platform, 45′s penetrate 9″, a 10 mm !8″.
  Plus I have fitted a barrel for 40 S&W which are (before Homeland Security bought them up) inexpensive, and a plentiful round to shoot. As for bullets, I prefer Hornady XTP’s, I reload my own ammo so supply is not a problem. Keep your powder dry, and stay prepared, vigilance is the key!

  If you knew anything about teaching 25 teenagers in a lab class you would understand it is IMPOSSIBLE to watch everything that goes on simultaneously. Especially someone you DON’T expect to do the wrong thing, there are more than enough non behaving students you poor excuse for parents send us to watch intently. I can tell right away YOU couldn’t possibly do this job, you would go running to MOMMY the first time a kid told you to F#$K OFF!

  BTW, liberal know-nothings the NRA is funded by a whole bunch of like minded, common people, who wish to preserve our 2nd amendment, and it has been that way for a long, long, time. My 3 sons now in their 20′s (two are State Troopers) are all members of the NRA. There WILL BE continued resistance to any and all of those who try to steal our rights.   I tell you this, if I taught there, I would have a SERIOUS discussion with that English teacher. I despise Teachers Unions like all others. In my teaching career i was put out of a job twice while the Union did NOTHING. First job, I ran the Driver’s ed program. I turned in two retired police officers for cheating on the # of hours they took students driving. Basically getting paid for nothing. At the end of the year, I was denied tenure. Second time, the Ass’t Superintendent’s nephew needed a job, I was harassed, then denied tenure again. In both positions I had outstanding reviews. In both cases, the Union did nothing. Their advice, don’t cause trouble and they will give you a good review.

  Thank God I live and teach in Virginia now, a right to work state, I don’t make anywhere the same money (I don’t need to) but I don’t have to give a dime to those lecherous 2 faced bastards. So you could imagine my comments when they approached me to join the NEA backed “association” in VA.
  It’s optional, thank God. They use fear tactics to make you join, mostly on their lawyers to represent you.
  If you ran into that kind of trouble, you would be best served picking your own counsel. Sorry for the rant, this story opened old wounds!

  We drove back from NC last night, there was WICKED fog over the Blue Ridge, we were fortunate that the route we took was one of the goat path routes (Rt 29 to RT 56 to Vesuvius) over the mountain where our speed was restricted by the twisting road to 20mph. It was nasty crossing yesterday morning as well. Our hearts go out to those poor souls.
