  Mr. Morgan … an AR-15 and even a full auto M16A1 will not fire a round unless someone pulls the trigger. It is the trigger finger and the one in control of it that causes any gun or rifle to discharge. The problem is not the weapon, but the morality and mentality, or lack thereof, of the one using it.

  The real problem … degraded morality and self-centeredness as the social norms of the population. These issues, brought on by liberal minded half-wits like you, are what have caused the mindless, violent, uncontrolled actions of people who have been indoctrinated or influenced by violence oriented cartoons, game and reality shows, movies, news casts and video games. At some point, the fantasy experience doesn’t seem to satisfy, so one turns to reality for that unbridled shot of adrenaline streaming excitement.

  @cmonpeople … the Constitution does not qualify ownership or the right to bear arms with licensing or registration. Those are liberal qualifiers that we have allowed to be pushed down our throats without much of a fight.

  Perhaps you would have the govt require that you license and register your cordless nail gun because it too can fire single shots in rapid succession and just as likely to kill as a bullet. Further, maybe they should limit the number of nails you can load into the nail gun to ensure you don’t go on a murder spree, even though you only use it to quickly build things of wood and provide an income to feed, cloth, house and protect your family.

  Your foolish crackpot responses are nothing but agonizingly ineffectual arguments without substance or logic.
