Christ is Alive, but very obviously not in you ChristAlive, (whose name appears to be blasphemy with the way this person wears it.)

No one is diminishing the work of Christ. But to state that Christ finished the work, begs the question why Christianity and missionary work by the original apostles was ever even necessary.
Our work only has value because of the work that Christ finished. A simple belief is NOT enough. As James said, no ye not that the devils believe and tremble… What does it profit them? Nothing. As Jesus said, “If ye love Me, keep my commandments.” Can one possibly love Jesus and not keep his commandments. This age old argument is just silly. To teach against baptism…because it is works…felonious.

@getoutofthewagon……No one says you can earn it, but how can heaven be heaven if it is chaos. Either you prove your faith with works, James has something to say about this, or you are not a believer, 1st John has something to say about that. You are blinded. Pull the mote out, or just use plain logic.

How funny that someone who calls himself or herself ChristAlive, denies that he can speak. Seriously…you need to take a long hard look at your belief structure. There appears to be a dichotomy in there somewhere.

I get what you are saying. I am Mormon or LDS as I prefer to be called. There are of course imperfect people in all religions, but for people to judge “Mormons” as hell bound is just foolishness. How can hell be hell if the best people are there? Mormon doctrine was restored to the earth to give guidance and the covenants with the Lord necessary to bring us back to him. Nothing more and nothing less. People who attack us stand on thin ice, as it is their interpretation of scripture that gives them credence. What if they are wrong? By what authority do they cast judgment???
The funniest part to me, is that ‘Heaven” according to the average born again will be filled with just a small fraction of mankind, who believes that it is wrong to believe that they must obey the commandments. This on its face appears to be hell.

A false religion??? And you know this how??? Revelation of some sort? Yours is the false religion, hence the reason the world needed latter day revelation via the Prophet Joseph Smith.

First of all read Luke 1:35. Obviously simple physics tells us that the “Virgin” was impregnated some how with the body of Christ. Brigham Young was simply stating a fact that God by his own means impregnated the body of Mary to create the tabernacle of His “ONLY BEGOTTEN” rather than using a fallible man to do this. Hence was Christ mortal and capable of giving his life and Deity capable of taking it again…i.e resurrection. I have always struggled to understand why this concept is so hard to understand.
Your second question is either a poor attempt as sarcasm, or just lacking any thought, so I will not bother answering it.
So in light of your answer to the the previous question and Mormon doctrine saying that we are all *literally* the children of God (not adopted into sonship as the mainstream Christian church believes), then wasn’t Brigham Young teaching that God had relations with his spirit daughter?
You're just begging for all of us to be grossed out by imagining some sort of actual phallic intercourse of gods and humans, right? creepy huh? Ever occur to you that God the Father, being, you know, God, could actually transfer some heavenly DNA into Mary by a greater variety of ways than you or I could imagine? Why do antis get so hung up on "He had sex! He had sex with Mary! Ewwwww!!" Seriously, just consider that the Immaculate Conception was exactly that --- a miracle beyond our understanding.

The lady murdered her own child…this doesn’t surprise me one bit.

Satan knows that God is God…how is that working out for him??? Just something to consider.

Well if it is a cult, than maybe that is just a word used to instill fear, when no fear is justified.
Cult: "A system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object."
All religions are cults. Cult is the root word of culture, and was originally used to describe a specific religious entity within a cultural setting. However, the word has evolved to infer disdain and suspicion.

Jnbap, hasn’t it occurred to you that the tribulations have already begun. You are still here aren’t you? Zion is the protection from the world in the last days. Check that one out.

I am LDS and am not about to beat up on the priest in a Catholic diocese. If they give their service to God, then God bless them for it. Mother Theresa was in my opinion the embodiment of Christian belief. If there is a God and he truly loves those who seek him, there must be a way for children like her to enter into his presence EVEN IF her doctrine had flaws. I seriously doubt that heaven could possibly be made up of people like “THERAPTURECOMES”. If it is, then I guess heaven will be hell.

Oh that pesky mote in your own eye. As if heaven can possibly be heaven when no one who is there even believes that they need to keep the commandments.
 October 12, 2014 at 5:56am
And how many Mormons are on here criticizing your religion?
 October 12, 2014 at 5:49am
@therapture…”Numbers do not make an origination authentic church of Jesus. ” So says the religion of one…
