Mark Sanford will win this seat and start his “comeback”. This is my home district, which was previously home to Joe Wilson – the infamous “you lie” shouter. Although it has been redrawn, it still is made up of primarily conservatives who value their freedom. Even the Hilton Head Island area mentioned with all the transplants from the north still votes to the right. And we can’t forget the military presence in Beaufort county with Parris Island, MCAS Beaufort, and the Naval Hospital.

As a restaurant owner, I have been harmed a few times by some fabricated complaints on “customer review” sites. I am in no way defending this contractor, but how do you know who is being truthful? Everyone needs to realize that although most comments are based on fact, my business has had several (4) comments which were untrue. One was an ex-girlfriend of the manager, one was an outright lie attempting to suggest that this disabled marine discriminated against disabled vets, one was from a former employee terminated for theft, and the final one was from a competing restaurant. All of these have been proven, but will not be removed by the websites.

One more piece of advice for those who rely on these websites…It is relatively easy to fake positive reviews. Take everything with a grain of salt.

That’s a shame. I have several gay friends all supporting Team Romney and voted in NC. They can’t stand how everyone “assumes” they are in the tank for Obama. They think for themselves, work hard, and are great people. Sounds like you are similar to them…not willing to allow anyone define who they are and how they should think!

Voted at 2:30pm in South Carolina. Turnout for the 2 precincts at this location were 62 and 65%. The final turnout from ’08 was 59%.

Did someone bring up race with regards to food stamps? You are correct 41% white, 38% black, 19% hispanic were the breakdown I saw. But whats the point? Every race has their share of hard workers, people that need help, and leaches to the system. It seems that liberals always want to take the argument down to racial fights instead of trying to fix the system. We live in the best country in the world and opportunity is everywhere if you are willing to take a risk. Why not improve the system, teach the people needing help how to move forward and create a future for themselves. Dependency on others to take care of your family is disgraceful, but the lefties out there tell them that its OK and keep them down. Helping others is great, but helping others realize their personal potential and guiding them through life to achieve greatness is the TRUE meaning of being an American.
