Troll or not, please back away from the computer and go take your meds.

I’ve always had a problem with subsidizing a server’s income. Let the business owner pay his/her servers a decent and get over it. I can’t believe how long this scam has gone on in the first place.

Are you people kidding me?! Granted, she acted like a fool, but what was her “crime”? She was talking on a cell phone for Pete’s sake! Which, by the way, the FAA is considering allowing on planes.
If you all are the perfect example of sheeple I’ve ever seen, I don’t who is. Seriously, most of the comments on here were so filled with hate and assumptions that nobody seems to bat an eye that the police are called for using a cell phone. Lord, what have we become? Have we all lost our minds?!!
She is absolutely right; why do so many women have a problem with something so simple. Strong, confident women are not afraid to support their man? And by submitting you are support. And before the trolls go ape ****, that doesn’t mean she gets beaten or has to beg for an allowance.
Good for her. It’s nice to see a young woman with real brains, not faux intelligence drummed into them at college.

What’s with the G-d? Am I missing something?

You should rethink having your rental property on the Section 8 list. Technically, the taxpayers are subsidizing your rental property, so you’re on the dole too.

the fact remains that if abortion were illegal, there would be a wave of kids born into families that cannot afford them and a massive increase in the entitlement spending….i have never heard conservative leaders discuss this
HA! Spoken like a true low info voter. “The fact remains…” Really? How is something that has not been tested in the past for accuracy become a “fact” to you?
Before our taxes were used to pay unwed mothers to have babies, there was not “a wave of kids born to families that cannot afford them”. Financial rewards for selfish behavior has not always been the case.
But I do love your “facts”.

No, it never really was about women’s “reproductive rights”. It’s always been based in fear, hate and $$.
But we already knew that, didn’t we?

I think the US should change the immigration laws as soon as Mexico, all of South America and Canada change theirs. Let’s let people flow freely throughout the America’s and Canada, not trap them in the U.S.

I agree with AUNTMOXIE… FB is nothing more than a brag fest. I live far from my family and reading their FB posts is the only way I know what is going on in their lives…and it’s usually never good.
I do not understand those who use FB to make personal announcements. I have a sister who announced she cheated on her husband..ON FACEBOOK! But was offended if anyone talked about it.
Another sister announced her marriage on FB, but never made a call or sent invites. Others make graduation announcements via FB and then begrudge those who don’t send $ gifts.
My response is if you make virtual announcements you will get my virtual gift (words on a screen) Nothing more.
@DAGNY - I too live away from my family, but only a few family members and a handful of friends are on FaceBook. And I don't have a page either.
I love the notices I get that my 3 Granddaughters and 3 of my Grandsons have posted new pictures or items to their pages. Also, my 2 daughters-in-law post things occasionally as well, and it is equally fun to keep up with them.
However, I grow oh-so weary of those "Do You Know" my "grandson's best-friend's cousin's best-friend's uncle's second cousin's husband's aunt's best friend" notices that seem to come via e-mail forty-billion-umpteen-trillion times a day.
I shan't be getting the FB "Home" app on my iPhone. Or iPads if it is made for them as well. When they kiddingly say that FB is the CIA's best source of info for the masses, I believe it is no joke. Just like Google has a back-door entrance to your computer, so my Techie tells me. I've no reason to doubt what he says but I can't remember the port that he said is always open and you can't close it. But that is neither here nor there.
I think that FB can be the Brag page, but fortunately, I don't have to deal with those.

I thought it was a wonderful; beautiful lighting and music. The scene with Jesus in the boat with Peter was beautiful.
Of course it’s not spot on! It would take a year to tell the entire story. Hey, that’s not a bad idea. A TV series covering 1/2 a book of the Bible a week.
If someone was sitting on the fence about their faith, I believe this series would push them over.
If some one was sitting on the fence concerning understanding biblical texts, they would walk away with the idea presented that the bible is simply a book of unrelated stories about a people called "the Jews" who remained in dialectical struggle and wound up as the State of Israel. That is how inaccurate and off message this mini series is.
No where are events cohesively tied together to present a message which would entice anyone to look further into what its written in the bible. This series leaves the largest mass of a people globally in existence today (as the stars of heaven in number) believing that they are not part of a family who is tied directly to ethhaadam (Adam), and our Father and Christ. There is quite a lot of time spent on bloody battles and the inaccurate portrayal of Herod, and Christ. This film will help no one with any understanding of what is written in biblical text. It only serves to confuse people even more concerning the bible and its vast wealth of information. The worst is Christ is presented as a wimp on the cross when there is factual evidence, even his last words were teaching us of Psalm 22 which was occurring at the cross and which was written of the events on that cross 1000 years before it occurred, to the last detail.

Hill is nothing more than another cookie cutter racist. Crime and murder; it’s all good as long as the killer doesn’t have white skin. Proof that being a “professor” nowadays is noting more than a joke.

Obviously you’ve never read any of her books. Woman is wicked smart.

Puh-lease! It’s an adorable logo, don’t change it. Make another with a woman in a business suit next time.
It seems as if there are areas that are completely void of men. But I don’t blame them; it’s what they’ve been brainwashed to be. Heartbreaking.

Wow! Just Wow! This video brought tears to my eyes. There are just so many things wrong in this one small snippit of life. The simmering anger, the blatant hatred for one another, the children mimicking the adults’ seething anger and they don’t even understand what’s going on.
It breaks my heart. So many angry people all jammed into these cities and living this way, just waiting for the slightest event to pounce as an excuse to vent their anger…and fear. I pray some day very soon they’ll start to realize where they are in life and how they got there and will realize IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE THIS WAY!
Yes it seems that the WWP is now playing the 'sensitive pc toes' game at the expense of the injured warriors. Very disturbing and disappointing.

And you are here, why?
February 1, 2013 at 12:49am
Ok all you waitstaffers, please tell me why a customer should subsidize your wages? Why don’t you simple band together and demand higher wages and forget the tip? Why you leave your income up to the kindness and generosity of the general public is beyond me.
Complaining about how little you make may tug on the heartstrings of some, but when you introduce logic into the argument, there is no reasonable explanation for customers to subsidize your pay. Go where you earn more, or don’t work as a server in a restaurant.
Funny how you want to exercise your choice to be waithelp, but demonize those exercising their choice not to pay your wages. That’s your bosses job, not the customers.
And who is holding that gun to your head forcing you to go to your waithelp job each day?
February 1, 2013 at 12:31am
Go Pastor Bell! It is flat out wrong to expect customers to contribute to the wages of a restaurant’s employees. PAY YOUR SERVERS A BETTER WAGE AND STOP RELYING ON YOUR CUSTOMERS TO SUBSIDIZE THEIR WAGES.
I work in the service industry and this mandatory tip thing came about through the unions, then every other restaurant caught on. Now, not only do the customers pay through the nose for a meal, they also have a mandatory tip!
By the way, unless they notify you in advance of a mandatory tip prior to ordering, you don’t have to pay it. Just complain, loudly!
