  The truth is: this happens all over the country every day behind closed doors.

  You should start a survey: how many of us were beaten with a belt? I was. My father made one belt into one with 7 arms to use on me when I was 4 years old.

  I have been in Church when people take belts to their children.

  We live in a culture where people use violence to correct their children, and then call it using the Rod.

  “Spare the rod and spoil the child”…can’t you just visualize Jesus using a belt on us?

  I hope this Hillary has gotten help. I am now divorced, but I married a man who would abuse me. You see, I was used to it. It has taken me years to realize I didn’t deserve it…

  I am very thankful that Gilad has been released. I find his appearance unsettling because he is so thin, it is shocking and a disturbing reminder of an ugly chapter in the treatment of Jews in the past…he looks like he has NOT been treated well.
