No frickin way. Demonstrate how, with complete accuracy, they will be vetted and how any weapons or funds will NEVER reach the bad guys. And who the hell ARE the good guys. We vetted the muslim brotherhood for mohammed’s sake. Bad bad plan. Better to spend the cash on 2000 pound jdams that we spread liberally throughout the middle east.

While we are at it can the welfare recipients clean the graffiti and clean up their taxpayer funded neighborhoods in exchange for their taxpayer funded retirements. Ps, sweet deal to retire without ever working a single day.

Mr “doa” Harry Reid. And he accuses republicans of being “obstructionists”.

While this is not what the second amendment was meant to be for (self defence), this is a perfect example of why it is necessary in today’s society. We have really allowed our nation to devolve into THE LOWEST common denominator. Perfect illustration of the inner city cesspool that the “great society” produced. Thanks Lyndon, nice conclusion of unintended consequences not quite anticipated, yet destroying our country, one miserable scumbag at a time. And if Michelle had a sister….

The real reason she and her ilk want firearms restrictions is DIRECTLY related to why the founders included the second amendment. She, and they want control with no opposition. If they wanted to curb gun violence they would support “stop and frisk” and mandatory minimum sentences for gun crimes. They would encourage work and responsibility and break up inner city ghettos where most of this activity is occurring. Lastly, create humane facilities that would treat and protect insane people. Newtown, Lochner, colorado theater shooter, all whack jobs. Minus those three incidents there would be ZERO traction on gun control.

This seems like a valid reason to petition the UN AND put the guard on the border with VERY liberal rules of engagement.

Seems as if he is making our point. Maybe he quit because he can’t stomach being a lying hypocrite, if so, welcome aboard! Meet you at the range.

Atheist chaplain= oxymoron, that’s why not.

I wonder how many gender confused humans are in Vancouver who will identify with these creative labels? Now, next will be publicly funded toilet facilities that will be maintained and NEVER used.

Please see my comment, at least his statement did not raise our taxes or break existing laws.

Of all the stuff that congress could have done today. Of all the “bi-partison” problem solving that could have been done. This probably was the best use of the house’s time. My hat is off to the “gentleman from Illinois” and his appreciated wife. Until the congress decides it is time to confront America’s real problems with hard choices, this at least, did not harm my family or country.

As I view the headline, unilateral means that he, Barack and perhaps Michelle, Sasha and Melia, though I can’t see how NOW and cosmo would let him speak for the females (Is “female” a PC term?), are ready to relinquish the family arsenal. Good, I’m okay with that. I however, will not. As I see it, he is free to give up his own guns, but thanks to the second cannot do that to us.

You voted for the policies and politicians that are hurting you. WAKE up. Even though Hillary was/is part of the Obama admin, you state there are conditions under which you would AGAIN vote against your own best interests due to your blind allegiance to (D). You deserve every bit of what you voted for.

5+ million dollars and only 7 bathrooms that is tough living. That means you would have to crap in the same bathroom at least once a week. Even the homeless don’t have that concern.

It’s “maroon”, you moron. You may be referring to the BUNDY property in Nevada. Since you don’t know enough to spell or punctuate, what makes you think you have any credibility? Even the Washington, D.C. circuit court (10th) conceded that the 2nd amendment is a right for all citizens of the U.S. Even in Chicago. Perhaps you will renounce your citizenship over this issue and move to… Oh, who cares.

What is your plan? Enlighten us all as to how to have a guaranteed investment without ANY risk.

  • May 14, 2014 at 1:32am

I’ve read the previous comments and I have to ask the detractors. What is your plan? Buy some gold and hide it in your backyard? For now, and the foreseeable future the economy IS the best investment, Currently bonds make no money, based on the FED regulated/manipulated interest rate, and while future stock earnings may be affected by currency devaluation, show a better solution. If you bury 100 dollars on the south forty and the currency devalues you have lost any opportunity to grow that money and it is then worth the going rate. In the end, do you trust the congress with your payroll tax or would you like to have shot at, at least knowing that money is in an account with YOUR NAME on it?

He, can with a very few sentences make the LIAR seem like, well, a liar. He provides the LOGIC that makes the miscreants STFU because they know they have NO rational defense. Those who continue to yammer only strengthen his argument. Love this guy.
