David’s had the privilege of being married to a woman who exemplifies grace clothed in flesh. I don’t imagine she was perfect (as none of us are), but when the time came she blessed David and her children and the woman who was to come into their lives. Sometimes life just becomes so God-awful unbearable. Then, to finally glimpse a bit of light, begin to think that there can be a tomorrow, to believe again that life can be a joy is a truly awesome event. Brenda helped make that possible for her husband and children. I imagine that God must have smiled and murmured “That, Brenda my dear child, is what I mean by grace.”

As a former law enforcement officer, you NEVER can meet a situation like this with deadly force. Yes, the mother was wrong, but that does not give the cops freedom to blaze away at a vehicle full of children. Wrong choices were rampant on both sides of this fiasco. The cops need to be busted for their behavior. The mother should be charged with speeding and evading an officer (she pulled off from the traffic stop). Child endangerment is somewhat questionable. The 14 year old was trying to defend his mom from an out of control stranger, whether he was wearing a uniform r not. As a DA, I’d have a problem charging the kid. Seriously screwed up situation all around.

When will the press stop being apologists for this lying fraud. His apology this past week amounted to “I’m sorry if people believed me when I was lying to them, looking them right in the eyes.” This man is the biggest liar ever. He makes Bill Clinton look like a Boy Scout, Jimmy Carter look like Albert Einstein. This man is responsible for destroying what took over 2 centuries to build. Freedom is his enemy, a free people the object of his hatred. We are daily witnessing the deconstruction of the republican form of government, to be replaced by the demonstrably failed model of socialism. Socialism doesn’t work, it never has worked, and it never will work because it fails to account for human nature.

is there a statement lurking here?

Fact 1- there are many people who are better looking than yourself.
Fact 2- there are many people who are less attractive than yourself.
Realize that you are somewhere on the spectrum of human beauty, neither at the bottom or the top. If you have a functional body which basically performs the functions a normal body regularly performs, be glad. There is much happiness or at least contentment to be found in realizing this basic fact.

BO LaBomba said HE didn’t draw a line in the sand, the world drew a line in the sand. Wonderful, effendi- then shut the hell up and let the world kick Syria’s arse….

Yikes, Dooley is having an anxiety attack! She looks like a hooker who just woke up in church….

Typical government ineptness and abuse…what interests me is the sudden change in CNN: where did they find the courage to start asking government officials these tough questions? If they keep this up, they may actually be accused of being journalists again….

The money came from her being gainfully employed…you might give that a shot sometime….

This is the right way to do income redistribution, not the way Prezbo does it. I gotta say though, the goat thing is seriously funny! By all accounts Ms. Swift is a pretty nice person, unlike some of her peers (Justin Beiber leaps to mind), so ^5 Taylor!

Gee Sarah, if they’d allowed you to speak freely, McCain may have actually won and that was never in the playbook. McCain was nominated to lose, so was Romney, and now the Republican failure machine is ginning up another losing campaign featuring Jeb Bush. The Republican ‘establishment’, ie Bush family, Carl Rove, et al will never allow a true conservative to run at the top of the ticket. They learned from Reagan what it feels like to lose their stranglehold on their power and will NOT allow that to happen again. Better a prince in Hell than a pauper in Heaven, right Carl?

Sharpeton loves to cherry pick the facts to give his warped view credence. I refuse to call this clown ‘Reverend’, as there is nothing about him to revere. He’s a race pimp who thrives on stirring the pot, keeping his ‘people’ at a fever pitch until violence erupts, then he grabs the nearest microphone to place the blame on whitey. The system worked; a jury heard the facts of the case presented by both sides, applied those facts according to the law, then came to the only possible conclusion. Al, too bad, so sad that the facts don’t support you, but then again that has never been a factor in your thought process, has it?

In this fight, please sign me up to be Rand Paul’s corner man… Chris Crisco might benefit from listening to Rand Paul- he may actually become a Republican. I know, Rand Paul is more libertarian, but I don’t want Crisco going too fast, too furious…he could blow out an artery! Chris Crisco maybe should just go back to swappin’ spit with Obama…

Someone noted that Paula Deen is a democrat. I wonder how she feels about them now that nshe is being eaten alive by her own tribe? I saw she once had Jimmy Carter on…God knows why. Maybe she isn’t too old to learn. As for those who are publicly crucifying her over ancient history, she on you. Paula Deen isn’t perfect, big whoop. I remember not too long ago a person of color called me a bitter clinger…I’m still waiting for my apology.

lol…imagine that, Colin the RINO thinks Obama isn’t all that bad. I hear Powell and John McCain are doing a remake of ‘Ebony & Ivory”, or was it all just a dream?

If I could change one thing in the universe, it’d be this: any elected official or any official who has any authority over any of his fellow citizens knowingly tells a lie, he would immediately burst into flame. Then, for only a brief time, Washington, DC would truly be a city of light

Under Stalin people were forced to inform on their neighbors. If the ‘informant’ didn’t come up with enough names, he himself was scooped up along with the names he had furnished. Does this sound familiar? Does anyone think the US is immune from such possibilities? Look into history, people. America has been like living in Disneyland for a very long time, but the illusion is almost over.

I actually like what Alexis Normand did much better than the rendition by Roseanne Barr…Barr knew she was being a rude, crude horses patoot while this girl at least had the idea of what the song was about. I couldn’t sing the Canadian anthem if my life depended on it.
