    Dr. Sullivan said the following:

“Dr. Kaplan and I agree [that it is wrong if] we’re willing to change a procedure … in order to accomplish our goal of having more tissue to sell for fetal research,” he said.

Wait, I thought it was illegal to sell fetal tissue?!!!

Nice story, but this happens every day that I ride the NY subway…

“That Smell” was written about Gary Rossington’s car accident… not Robert Burns.

I would say that driving over the 4 inch curb/center divider while sliding sideways had a lot to do with knocking the wheel off.

I usually think these things are “set up” too… But if they were looking for 15 minutes of fame, they would have put their faces in the video. This to me was real. Their reaction was real. I would imagine them suckers are hard to catch just to pull an innocent prank.

So… you’re told it was a previously returned item and you didn’t open it in the store to make sure all of the parts were there? Controllers, plugs, owners manual, game discs…? Something smells fishy. In addition, these are big ticket game consoles… when it was returned the “first” time, they do an inspection to make sure that the game is still fit for re-sale.

I guess if there is a “scam” going on between the stock person, the floor salesman etc… they could have switched out the game for the box of rocks after it was returned the first time. With all of the security cameras at WalMart, that would be tough to do.

    You’re an idiot…! Have a nice day.

I don’t care what you think of this whole situation and how it was wrongly portrayed in the media… but ultimately this is not funny at all and the bar owner should be ashamed to call himself a human.

If she doesn’t know who he is and IF “he wasn’t involved” in writing the “law”, then why does she need to make the point that his comments are “old” (1-2 years old) and why does she thinks that it’s important that he “backtracked from those statements.” If he’s not significant, then neither are his comments? Right?

I really saw nothing wrong with that. Guy was nervous. We’ve all been there. Good job… he held it together and got through it.

Open your ears. She mispronounced both times and only asked after it was brought to her attention. Mispronouncing is not a big deal… Pretending to know him and then sticking your foot in your mouth is. She also said he was a US Marine Corp vet… Which he is not.

@Brigot: You made the comment that “the problem with Reagan’s system is that it was supposed to stop missile attacks from the air…”

Umm… I’m going to stop you right there… because clearly the video shows that IT DID STOP THE MISSILE ATTACKS FROM THE AIR.

I’m not sure what your point is. If you’re trying to say that they need to stop the ground attacks too, then yes, they do. But the IRON DOME is doing what it was intended to do as is the case in this instance.

Never been… but with a pick-up and a set of keys that start said pick-up, I will be driving that thing in the opposite direction of the tornado.

  • [33] May 27, 2014 at 12:33pm

Wow… no one said you have to be smart in order to survive a tornado. What were they waiting for?

If you knew the history of these roads on Long Island… they were never built to accommodate trucks. They are strictly for passenger vehicles. On RAMPS are all clearly marked “NO Commercial Vehicles” and “LOW Clearance” signs are all over the place. There are Expressways (LIE) and Highways that are built for both commercial and passenger vehicles without needing to get onto the “Parkways.” The problem is that many of these drivers are not New Yorkers and are unfamiliar with the roads… and with the use of GPS systems… it directs the drivers onto the “Parkways” not knowing that they should not access them.

I don’t think the Vet was upset that he wasn’t allowed to ride the ride. I think he clearly understands the safety concerns and by not having at least one “full” leg, he would be at risk of falling out of the ride. His only argument with 6 flags was… he was refused a legitimate refund. Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice and service.

The host didn’t say “Essential” to making out… he said “name something that two lovers might accidentally turn on while making out…”

I’m sorry, but I don’t see any way that EVERYONE survived the sinking.
