  • Hi.
Could you please cite for me, chapter and verse, where the US Constitution provides emergency medical care for a criminal shot in the process of his crime? Wait, I’ll make it even easier: cite the Constitution where it says the government (at any level) will provide medical care.
The problem I see in America is that so many people think so much stuff is in the Constitution that doesn’t exist. I guess if you spout lies often enough, they become truths.

  • Okay, is it just me or does anyone else think this is stupid?
Someone breaks into a man’s home. Man shoots intruder. Authorities NOT ONLY rush perpetrator to hospital, but AIR EVAC to better hospital!
Are you kidding me? Strap his criminal azz to a board and have a team of kittens drag him to the closest doctor’s office. If it’s closed, wait until morning.

  • Guns should be surrendered one bullet at a time.

  • Hmmm…the right of the people…….keep and bear……not be infringed.
Am I the only one that sees an infringement? I find it interesting that the founder who developed the Bill of Rights could very well have said, “shall not be denied”, which would leave the door open for varying degrees of restriction provided they didn’t equate to a complete denial. Or even better, they could have said, “shall not be prohibited” as they have already used the term “prohibiting” in the prior Amendment. No, they chose “infringed” which encompasses any and all attempts by government to interfere with a persons capacity to own and/or carry weaponry. What the heck are we so afraid of?

  • I find it interesting that the origina story located an empty, powerless preacher to do the criticism. Then they mention that he has a list of churches devoted to KJV. Seriously? This again?!
People, if you don’t think the English language has changed in 400 years then explain to me the following example:

1920 – Two men are standing on a street corner. They notice Fred walking on the other side of the street. Man One says, “That’s Fred. He’s quite the gay man.”
2011 – Two men are standing on a street corner. They notice Fred walking on the other side of the street. Man One says, “That’s Fred. He’s quite the gay man.”

Can you honestly say the two precise statements are conveying the exact same meaning?

Standby for for Rosales v Alvarez.

  • We are a Republic! Try to get that straight.

  • Is anyone else bothered when Christians whine and moan about the trials they face?
Seriously folks, if you are going to stand up for your principles, stand strong. Take the slings and arrows without all the crying!
Non-Christians? Don’t care. But Christians need to man up and stop being the panty waste pushovers of the world.
What happened to “consider it all joy…”?
    Disgusting.

  • I have long held (and taught) that Islam is the weakest of all religions. Being “religious” means you voluntarily forgo some things. I don’t drink liquor – Why? Against my religion. I don’t have sex outside marriage – Why? Against my religion. I don’t use foul language – Why? Against my religion. Yet Islamists won’t stand up for their religion within their own actions. A truly religious person, when forced to choose between a carnival ride and their religious clothing would have been glad to say no to the ride and smiled having done so.
No folks, the red horse (see War of the Horses) is not about good, strong religious people but rather about war and terror. So be it Islam.

I’d have to pull out my old sermon notes from the early 90′s, but I quickly proved to a study group that Jesus was a Reactionary Capitalist. The light bulb after the “deer in headlights” is always a joy to behold.
Nevertheless, today’s argument (battle if you will) is the war of the horses. If we remain ignorant of that, we remain impotent in the fight.
