  Man, I completely get where you’re coming from; the reality is, there’s a bunch of us in CA who would like a SELECTIVE TSUNAMI or quake to wash or shake out all of the b.s. that goes on here. It’s horrendously frustrating; The voters approved this prop 30 to add taxes in order to avoid our own cliff regarding schools and other “vital” programs. Please. Most of that money will never make it into the classrooms. That being said, you really should at least visit, because you’d see how beautiful it is and how exciting and diverse the people are; it really is a joy to live here but may seriously not be for long.

  It’s so interesting that the City Attorney issues this news to citizens. Hmnmmm. Cuts, eh? Well, I’m more about protection for the people myself, and I think the police and fire departments are much more of necessity than, say…attorneys….or boards of supervisors….or city council members….or other local bureacrats. Let’s cut their salaries first along with their expense accounts, cut their pensions down next, and let them pay for their own healthcare once they retire. Then, let’s see how much money we have available to fund the police and fire departments…makes complete sense to me.

  It’s not the majority of people in Israel; people are conflicted as well over there. I have cousins who are both conservative and liberal. They’re also confused about what shoud be done, at times

  If Iran made a pledge to wipe America off the map, I wonder how you would expect America to respond.

  I’m Jewish, I’m American, and I believe a genocide can happen at any given time, in any given country, to any given people….and it happens largely due to the amount of denial people create in order cope with the unthinkable. I’m delighted to have chosen not to contribute to the potential annihilation of Israel by voting for that man again. Stay asleep, li’ Chet. Stay asleep.

  And the folks up on those hotel balconies are nothing but THUGS.
