  @THREEMONKEYSMOMMA You stated “am surprised this house full of kids had the gun accessable, but I glad it turned out this way.” I don’t know when the tide turned in that directiion but I’m 66 my next birthday and was raised in a large family. Guns were everywhere, in every home. Not once did any of us younger chilrden shoot ourselves or any one else. Learned behavior from an early age told us that guns were only used for hunting and self defense. We hunted at an early age and was taught how to handle every type gun. My Granddad had an 8 guage shot gun that put my little ass on the ground. Once. Never touched it again. Earned me a 410. LOL Hand guns were carried by quite a few adults and nobody ever shot or killed anyone. When I read of kids playing with guns and shooting themselves or someone else, my first thought is ‘somebody didin’t get educated with a switch’ like we did. Nor were they educated about the weapon in the home. My weapon of choice for me and mine against the crazies, is a fully automatic assault rifle. BUT not having access to such, we just rely on that ever faithful 12 guage with bird shot and various hand guns.

  “Westboro distorts the Bible”……hmmm, why just Westboro? Me thinks perhaps every one does just that. 5 people in a room…5 different religions…5 different interpertations of what is written in the
  Bible….and peeps, MY maker does NOT ‘hate’ anything. Can’t. It’s a earthly, human only emotion. If everyone would stop taking the Bible so literally, and start thinking for themselves…..o’well, deaf ears, moot point…moving on

  I am a conservative as many of you are that read and post in the Blaze. Now, having said that let me say this, the whole subject of abortion is stupid beyond belief. Way I see it, the ‘pro’s’ don’t want anyone telling them what they can or can’t do with their bodies/lives. Sound like a conservative thing to me. The ‘cons’ want big brother to make a low against what one can or cannot do with their lives/bodies. Sound liberal to me. Yet the war that wages is between conservatives that seem to be dead set against abortion, and liberals who want it. Don’t add up, now does it? So my conservative frends, why are you so adamately opposed and want more government intrusions in our lives? And stop with the name calling on this issue. It serves but one purpose, to inflame and anger and thus making this the stupidist of all our problems. What my sisters in life choose to do IN THIS LIFE is solely her life choices to make. Who am I to force my ways of thinking and doing on someone else while doing what I want?? Sounds a whole lot like hypocritical, now don’t it? And of course I gotta say this, those of you calling the sister in life and the doctor ‘baby killers’, you do so need to take an anatomy class on the 3 trimesters of pregnancy. Yet even with doing that and learning the differences, religion trumps knowledge every time, doesen’t it?

  I’m thinking back to my 5th grade teacher and having a ball with all the mental images of her telling us things like that!!! I’m getting long in the tooth and back in those years, one could start first grade if your 6th birthday fell before the end of the year, therefore alot of us were only 10 going into the 5th grade. Yep, that would have been a shocker for us, for sure. Our school system now sucks donkey balls. Didn’t realize it at the time, but they (liberals, that is) started the sneak attack by moving entry date back to having to be 6 BEFORE the school year started. Next step was making kindergarten mandatory and part of the the school term…K thru 12 they were/are calling it. Do away with one thing to make another. More money thing, more control thing, etc. Now they have Pre-K!!! My generation only had 12 years of schooling and produced some of the greatest minds of all times. Now it’s 14 years and the grads can’t read or write or spell. Ask one that you know this simple question…where’s Washington?….Going to say DC every time. None of the basics are being taught in grade school anymore, and what we’re getting is a bunch of educated idiots. In high school we had 6 courses a day, now they have 8 crammed into the day, mostley stuff that ain’t gonna do the student any good what so ever. BUT you get to employ twice as many school personal. Hot damn!! More time and more liberals to warp our kids minds!!

  I personally know of two who think FoxNews is the only channel on tv now. If I know two, there has to be millions and millions more.So you are correct on that point. I am a faithful watcher of Morning Joe. Don’t, wait, listen….I prefer to keep my friends close and my enemies closer, so I watch ONLY Morning Joe, understand? As far as the rest of the day timers on BSnbc, if they say or do something stupid..wait, that’s all the time..but if they really go nutzoid, I get it from Breitbart, Rush, or the Blaze.

  I have a 29 year old granddaughter that was born disabled. (white) It took us 26 years of fighting with the government to get her on SSI disablity. Every alcoholic we knew was on SSI because of it. And the list of ‘shouldn’t be’s’ goes on and on. I told you this to tell you this…my daughter controls my granddaughter’s money (approx. 700 a month) because of granddaughter likes beer. Bills have to be paid. When we take her to get food with her EBT, that is why WE separate what she gets…we pay for it with OUR money, not hers. This is called personal responsibility. Those welfare queens have NO personal responsibility. Raised that way. We have near us, the 6th generation of one family living on public assistance. Common among blacks, and become so with white trash. Before I run out of word count…at one of my local grocery chains, I witnessed this, a 40ish black, obese woman with four carts of groceries. Paid with EBT. I asked the cashier was she allowed to tell me the amount of her ebt card. She says “you mean CARDS. She had four totally over a thousand dollars”. HERS now, not hers and others she may have been to get them food. That underscores the problem with meth/crack addicts selling their EBTs for drug/alcohol/tobacco/gambling habits. Yes, we need to do drug screening on everyone on public assistance and put an end to this wasteful, costly scam. Every 13 years one family can add another future welfare queen. Gotta stop the nonsense.

  How do you know it’s easy? When did you die? Don’t bring politics into yet another personal and private life situation. Very demeaning to that man and his family. I am not now, have never been, nor will I ever be, a liberal but my life is my life, not yours, and I think one should be able to make any and all life altering decision themselves, not a religious freak, or the government. I’m a Republican and I approve this message.
