“Crows are smarter than people”?? Well, Mr. Oblivious, I guess you are right for at least one human. When was the last thing a crow invented? Can a crow build a hospital? Can a crow do long division? Can a crow count crows? Can a crow philosophize as to the purpose for its life?

No, crows are not smarter than humans.

Mr. Bobey, the whole slam on your marriage (and by extension, all marriages) is not funny.

“I pretty much miss three days of my kid’s lives a week.”

Think about it this way: “I pretty much miss about 156 days of my kids’ lives a year.” Sure puts it into perspective.

Ya’ know, wouldn’t it be better to encourage someone to read the New Testament to “provoke thought” about the teachings of Jesus? If this clown would have read the eyewitness accounts of Jesus he would have seen that the appearance of Jesus is not about his “teachings” but about his mission of redemption. Jesus came to die and rise again in order to set the captives free from their sins (like those held in bondage to the sins of homosexuality, sloth, envy, coveteousness, theft by government coercion- making the rich pay “their fair share”, etc.)

The liberal theologian is no different from the secular humanist. Both of them have rejected the sovereignty of God and have elevated man instead. They turned Jesus into merely a poster boy for the liberal agenda and have denied his deity as the eternal God.

Thanks, Blaze editors. You corrected the “ordnance/ordinance” mistake so quickly that my post hadn’t even registered yet before the correction was done.

  • May 3, 2013 at 3:24pm

Thank you Blaze for quickly correcting that “ordnance/ordinance” mistatke.

  • May 3, 2013 at 3:23pm

Once again the Blaze editors are not helping the credibility of the website.

    Black Rain ORDNANCE, not Ordinance.

An ordinance is a municipal or county law. Ordnance is a mass noun referring to military materials such as weapons, ammunition, equipment, and vehicles.

I tried to access this website on an Air Force Base and it was blocked. The reason given was that the site was Religious.

They aren’t police officers. They are thugs. They are a disgrace and have forfeited the privilege of being police officers.

I certainly don’t want to disparage those who are helping. But, I believe the truth needs to be shared.

This actor may be “inspirational” but his words are a lie. We are all deceitful and depsarately wicked. Without Jesus Christ we are all psychopaths and sociopaths or their enablers. There is no one good, no not one. The level of depravity isn’t the same for everyone but we are all depraved. We may not set off bombs that killed three people and maimed hundreds, but some of us advocate for abortion that has killed and maimed tens of millions of children. Some of us preach “tolerance” and “love” to justify destroying families through same-sex “marriage.” Some of us think we are charitable by stealing the resources of people in order to “help the poor and needy.” These are wickedness and add evil to a corrupt culture.

Evil resides in the hearts of us all. The Good News is that we can be freed from this internal evil by believing in the grace of Jesus. When Patton Oswalt says “This is beyond religion” he is only right in this regard: unless we get beyond our religious belief in the goodness of man and realize we need Jesus to help us stem the tide of evil, we will never see its end.

Are you Blaze editors idiots? Trying to coin “McConnel-Gate” in your headline on your main page? Do you intend to link the KY Senator’s name with the scandal? Your young “news” website is surely showing its immaturity.

Of course she meant what she said. Liberals have this way of expecting us to find the hidden meaning in the plain words they use because they always find some hidden (racist) meaning in the plain words conservatives use. Loving our liberal enemies does not mean we roll over and let them destroy the country. We love them enough to stop them from destroying people’s lives.

God is not the author of confusion. After Eden mankind has the ability to make moral judgments and now with advanced technology has the capacity to introduce great confusion into the world. By making a bad moral judgment and using technology Thomas Beatie has turned herself into a moral monster, (a circus freak if you prefer).

So, are you upset that a woman’s obit started with her more important job as a mother and wife, or are you upset that the NYT doesn’t think being a dad and a husband is an important job?

  • April 1, 2013 at 12:43pm

In a world where the sacredness of motherhood is seen as merely a profession beneath “evolved” women it is no wonder marriage is looked upon as merely a social club to “constitute one’s identity.”

Liberals are like locusts. They swarm in somewhere, devastate the area and devour it of all resources and then move on to the next area to destroy that area too, leaving a path of destruction behind them without any regard for the consequences.

The Enlightenment “reformed Christianity?” It poisoned Christianity. The Enlightenment and Islam both eventually lead to the same depraved, tyrannical result. Islam’s god is so transcendent mankind needs men to enforce his laws. Sharia Law is the result. The Enlightenment’s god is so personal that everyone defines his own morality. This chaos leads to anaarchy, which convinces people to accept despotism.

Only Christianity leads to life, liberty and happiness. Islam and a secular humanist Enlightenment lead to tyranny.

In reply to the story Can Islam Be Reformed?

The more I read and listen to things related to Glenn Beck, the more empty they seem. Sure he and those affiliated with him talk favorably about the founding fathers and our founding principles. They even talk about God, but their words seem empty, without efficacy. Beck’s god is some glorified man who attained godhood not the Eternal God who created the natural law principles our founders discovered and wrote into our Declaration of Independence and Constitution. Beck’s principles seem to be more like the Enlightenment rather than the Reformation. He seems to believe it to be within the power of men to make a “moral” government. To him, all we need is the right way of thinking, feeling and doing. But, that is not the understanding of the founders. Only in Jesus (who is God himself, not some spirit brother of Lucifer) do we have the power to think, be and act good.

Like, S.E. Cupp’s atheism, eventually Beck’s Mormonism will collide with natural law truth and destroy the liberty which it attempts to protect.
