  O’Reilly made a bad choice of words when he used the words “Bible Thumper”. Most Christ followers who believe the Bible as the Word of God are offended when the term is used as a derogatory phrase linked to all Christians. Bible Thumper is a term used to denote people who go around beating people over the head with their Bibles. And while Christians stand for what is morally right and wrong according to Scripture, we don’t beat over the head with the Bible. Bill should apologize as the term Bible Thumper implies Christians who live by the Bible are the same nut jobs as the Westboro Baptist Church members. And Christians should not be ashamed of standing by their convictions.

  If two gay guys get married, the definition of “marriage” gets changed. And so do a lot of other vocabulary? Marriage indicates that there is one husband and one wife? Who is which in a gay marriage. And if they adopt children, who becomes the daddy and who becomes the mommy? And if there is a divorce, who gets the children, mommy or daddy? Some judge will have fun deciding who gets the kids if he can figure out who is who. We are making a big deal out of nothing when it is estimated that there are only about 3 % of the population who is gay. Judges used to throw sodomites in jail, now they give them children. God help the children.

  Rhinos need to go. Moderate presidential candidates will never win. Look at Bob Dole, McCain, and Geo. Bush I who COMPROMISED his principles and lost 2nd time around. Only candidates who have the guts to stand up with core values will ever succeed. It is time Rove retires. Palin has the courage of her convictions and wish we had a few more good people like her, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Cruz, Lee and some decent folks in the House. We need to take back the Senate and make up a bigger margin in the House. STOP THE COMPROMISERS.

  When will Republicans like Rove learn that moderates can’t win the presidency: e.g. Bob Dole, Mitt Romney, Geo. Bush I for a second term. And if they do win in the Senate and House, what good are they? They have betrayed the trust of us who support them. It is time to get candidates who will stand up for American principles and values, support the Constitution, and stand for those principles rather than caving continuously to the Democratic party. And those we have elected to the House and Senate who haven’t done as they have promised NEED TO GO in the next round of primaries.
  Our country is up side down, and if we dont fix it soon, it will be too late and all our liberties will be gon.e.

  Great idea to publish names and addresses of gun owners:
  1. Crooks will stay away from those addresses that have been published.
  2. Crooks will go to homes that perhaps are less likely to own guns.
  3. These people whose addresses were not published will be forced to buy guns knowing that criminals will likely visit their homes than the ones published who own guns,
  4. Crime will go down.
  5. Guns sales will increase and ammo sales will also giving the economy a great boost. More people will be hired to sell guns, ammo, scopes, holsters, gun safes, cleaning supplies, etc.More people will be hired to call in background checks. More people will be hired to build guns, More truck drivers hired to transport guns, ammo, etc. Win-Win for everyoone, Even the government wins since more taxes will be collected on the sales and incomes of all the above. I say let the crooks beware when everyone owns a gun. In fact, government would benefit greatly if everyone had to own a gun. Publish on Gawker. And when the bad guys show up, they can read my publication on the door, “Protected by Smith and Wesson”

  Great idea for publishing names and addresses of GUN OWNERS. Now those who do don’t own guns know that their homes will be targeted by the bad guys and will go out to buy guns to protect themselves. Great way to boost the economy with increased sales, and great way to stop crime since now people smart enough to protect their homes and belongings will be on the published list and hopefully, the bad guys will read the list and give up robbing us.

  The paper did a great service to the residents of those N.Y. counties. The bad guys will know where NOT to go to rob, steal, and plunder. This map will force them to go to the citizens who are not armed. Once these citizens figure that out, they will arm themselves also which means that everyone in those counties will be armed and ready for the bad guys. Then, you can watch crime go down and you all can thank the magazine for that.

  Read the Bible and see what happened to the nation of Israel when they turned their back on God,
  Read about the captivities. Read how God allowed and sometimes sent their neighbors to nearly wipe the nation off the face of the Earth. If you can’t see cause and effect since removing God from the public schools in 1963, you are either blind or stupid. For 400 years, God was recognized as sovereign. We started the day off with Bible reading and prayer. And I don’t recall reading in history any mass murders in the schools during those 400 years. Today, we allow the atheists to dictate national policy. Time to stand up and say, “enough is enough”. Wake up America!!! It is time we arm ourselves and maybe God wants us to do some of the protecting instead of the complaining.
