That job takes a high toll on people for sure. At some point, they find themselves unable to bear the stench under their own skin, and must resign. In fairness, the job always looks more glorious and elevated through the goggles of ambition. No one expects the stench.

Would be nice if one had the freedom to express your thoughts, even dark offensive ones, without worrying about finding some invisible line that a certain group or even the public majority then demands mandates your destruction.

Hard to know what all groups are out there and have a feel for how the noises out of your mouth and your appearance will impact each of them.

Have learned a bunch about rattlers over the years. Definitely is bad to get bit up in the middle of nowhere. For a snake bite kit to do much good (contrary to what this story suggests), you really need to know exactly how to use it and have it on your person and apply it to the bite in a minute or less.

The reason for this is that the venom gets absorbed into the lymph tissue very quickly, it is like dripping water on a paper towel. What the snake bite kit does is suction out venom that has not yet been absorbed. It is not that effective on pulling out venom already in your system.

You will see this with a dog that is rattlesnake bit. They will be in agonizing pain starting in ten seconds or so.

Won’t claim to give medical advice, just an opinion, but it seems to me that the standard model is too simplistic: “Keep your heartbeat down.” Had a young dog who was bitten in the leg, miles from nowhere. She was semi-conscious for a time, but then was able to trot out on 3 legs. Her leg swole up like it was going to burst. In her case, with a strong heart, one might wonder if it was smart to increase the circulation so that her whole body was involved in neutralizing it. Otherwise, she might have lost a leg.

Thanks Bill for having this guy on. All this time I thought the Islamic position towards terrorists was based on taqqiya and kitman. Now I see they nust don’t know the right way of saying it: False Flag Attack!

Terrorists are not muslims at all, how could they be. Instead, they are posers that I’m flitrate other countries without bith certs or passports. Are they Catholics, athiests, Buddhists, Illuminati? I don’t know. But they do these heinous acts in the name of Islam in order to get the world to to hate muslims!

Total setup. Clearly, if anyone is the victim and should be angry, it is muslims. For sure would have been more tolerable if she were ugly. No, I know what you mean. The human cruelty is truly sickening and disheartening. There is nothing quite as satisfying as destroying something that is beautiful or has promise, it seems.
