  • No, she was not arrested for being gay. She was arrested for an 18 year old having sex with a 15 year old – that’s statutory rape. If a guy would be thrown in jail for it, so should a young woman.

  • The only mistake Mike Kelly made is that he was referring only to the IRS. Most Americans have no faith in any of the government and fear that whatever it does, it’s bad for America and Americans. That includes the IRS, EPA, FAA, TAA, Congress, the President, the Courts, and on and on!

  • What’s the big surprise? I have a retail business license for my part time, less than $1000 per year home business that costs me $80 per year for the city. Now I have a rental property, and guess what? They want me to have another business license for that one, which costs $100 per year. More taxes! more red tape! less freedoms!

  • I’m LDS and am a Navy vet – after my mission. Doesn’t anybody realty read? Mitt’s draft number wasn’t. That means he didn’t dodge the draft, but wasn’t called. My number was 35 the year they stopped the draft.

  • To Scarebear – the modern communists/marxists/LGBT have become very adept at using pop culture to “spread the word” and make things more acceptable to our young people. Che t-shirts abound among people who don’t support communism and revolution, but want to wear a “cool” t-shirt. Glee, New Normal, and Modern Family are all used to spread the idea that homosexuality is just fine and normal. The more we allow these cultural events to be “just a cool piece of music” or that “it’s just a shirt” to be present in our schools and in our media, the more “acceptable” these ideals become before people are passe about communism, marxism, and the overthrow of our society by peaceful revolution.

  • THanks for the Little Red Hen version that demonstrates what this country has turned in to under this President. By the way, for those ripping on Rhinehart – read the story. She said that those who are jealous or are complaining about not having money should work harder. Not everyone wants to be millionairs, but those that complain need to evaluate themselves and work for what you want. She may or may not have inherited money, but she’s still employing lots of people and helping the economy. That’s not good enough for socialist/communists who want to be like the Eagle and take from the rich to give to the lazy poor, but note that the communist Eagle took half of the loaf for himself!

  • @just: Well, each affiliate station has the choice of what shows they want to air. That is the market. Apparently, some stations take seriously the idea that trash is trash and they don’t want to air trash. Most stations take the trash given by NBC. If more stations refused to air this type of trash, NBC wouldn’t be pushing their agenda and trying to force people into the “new normal” that they want to make. If people in Utah decide to watch this trash, they have other means – the internet and cable, which is also the market. I find the groups that force this kind of agenda to be the hateful, bigoted ones in our “new” society. I will vote with my TV and never watch any of this type of trash. Call me names, but my moral values are more in line with “normal” values than yours, and no amount of bullying will make me change them.

  • Oops, wrong post: So, why do Christians have to put up with being forced to comply with the religion of atheism? Isn’t the non-belief of God a belief? What makes it right or “constitutional” to require someone in a public setting to be forced to listen to, support, or even accept someone who claims there is no God? Just wanting to know who died and made atheists the rulers of this great, Judeo-Christian Nation? Freedom OF religion guarantees just that. If atheism is practiced by the majority, then OK, that’s what we would agree to, but it’s not. And there is a reason why it’s not the majority religion! There is a God and He loves us all, even those who don’t believe in Him!

  • Consider how we use our time in the choices we make in viewing television, playing video games, surfing the Internet, or reading books or magazines. Of course it is good to view wholesome entertainment or to obtain interesting information. But not everything of that sort is worth the portion of our life we give to obtain it. Some things are better, and others are best.
