Reading this was almost like trying to read German. I really don’t have any idea what was said.

i had to take a communications class at the local community college, and my class was a high majority black. i couldnt believe how disrespectful they were to the instructor. he was a little quirky and not my favorite instructor, but i was still respectful of him and the way he wanted to run his class. the lack of manners, appropriateness and disrespect by my classmates was, i thought, a very good example of the black community in general. it really is no wonder why blacks are disregarded so easily. they are their own worst enemy.
wow you really hit the mark on the head, you are right. Until the black community is taught to respect a mother and a father, teachers, police, religious leaders, they will continue to loose. As long as we the people are willing to fund single mothers, delinquent dads, schools and universities that don't put everyone to a higher standard, then the country looses.

i like how you allow her to call it whatever she likes, and when she calls it as she sees it you mock her. typical atheist.

no thanks. fast food jobs are a dime a dozen, that is if she can get another fast food joint to hire her after they find out she doesnt properly drop their money. and why should she care if she drops money in a timely fashion, if it gets stolen she losses nothing.
April 22, 2015 at 3:33pm
why make a policy if you only do it “when you can”. the policy is in place to prevent something exactly like this from happening. she couldnt find time in probably about 2 hours to drop a few hundred bucks? her loss, now shes looking for another job.
Read the story again. Popeye's had a sale going on and $400 was within an hour. Geesh.
don't recall them saying it was two hours, only that she did not get it done in that hour window.

she should have been making hourly drops, clearly she wasnt if the robber got away with 400. she deserved to lose her job because she was not performing her job. what a coincidence that the guy who robbed the place happened to pick the one fast food joint where the shift manager doesnt make hourly drops. huh. his lucky day.
doxy, I was thinking the same thing. Most of the service industry has rules about cash on hand. Retail has a reminder that keeps popping up telling you to get a manager. I was attempting to compare the build of the robber with her husband because just too many coincidences.
Sounds like you are accusing her of an inside job!
"Holcomb told KHOU, noting that she was moving money from the register as quickly as she could on that busy Tuesday night." I guess in your world, she should have refused to give the robber the money. It may have cost her her life, but Popeye's would have their $400...And I like how you point out the robber was just savvy "to pick the one fast food joint where the shift manager doesnt make hourly drops." He has NO responsibility in this situation... "huh. his lucky day."
have you stopped to think that maybe the store manager should have had more employees working on that shift if it was so busy that the shift manager could not get to the deposit before her hour was up? why does it always fall on the only person who is trying to do their job? 400 in an hour is pretty good business for a fast food joint. how many were working that shift? where was the manager? did you not read where the woman said she was trying to get to it but that it was so busy she just couldn't. i did not read anywhere where it says she just didn't do it. only that she couldn't get to it in that one hour time slot just yet. i have been in a line where i have had to wait 15 minutes while someone closed the till, counted the money, took care of the paperwork and then put start up money back in. that is not putting the customer first in my books. that is putting the money first. and you are making a huge leap to say she was in on it when nothing was suggested she was and she is not under any investigation for such. i hope nothing ever happens bad to you one day that you finding yourself a victim should the become the suspect in the liberal minds of others.

Broken souls coming for comfort and healing? Maybe they should call on Christ, not Linda Cheldlen Fell.

When your identity and worth as a person are wrapped up in your career, it is really, really hard to just get over it. I am not saying Anthony is in the right, but I understand his anger, and he is probably feeling a little abandonment but former coworkers. It’s just a guess because I have felt that way before after losing a job, and I didn’t even have 20 years put into it.

“You have to keep the faith because there is life afterwards and there’s a wonderful life waiting.”
These types, I can’t help but roll my eyes at them. Just because they fell into some money they think it will eventually happen for others too, if only they wait long enough, or pray hard enough, or as this person says “keep the faith.” Well guess what, sometimes things don’t get better, sometimes things get only marginally better, either way you have to play the hand your dealt and make the best of it.
I think you got it where, "you have to play the hand you're dealt and make the best of it"

its just sugar and partially hydrogenated vegetable oil. unless you or your lady are scratch cooking every day then you are eating it in something, regularly. especially if you are buying baked goods from your local chain supermarket’s bakery.

cardboard made into a castle falls under junk to me. plus, if i were the neighbor, as i stated, they got a week before i call, that is plenty enough time for fun. i have someone who lives a few blocks over from me who has all their kids plastic outdoor toys on their front lawn. if i lived on that block ida called stl city long ago. a short time is fine, but my neighborhood is the last entirely good zip code in stl city, let it go too long and then it becomes hoosierville.

im indifferent when blacks commit crimes against other blacks. reap what you sow.
 April 6, 2015 at 11:29am
i firmly believe that black people are of lower intelligence than any other race in this world. sure there are a few who excel and break out of the mold, but as a generalization blacks are on the lowest rung of the ladder, seemingly just a step above an ox or mule. the only thing they have to offer society is their brawn, and even then they are too lazy to work.
it may offend black people to hear this, but its an honest opinion, probably of many people, and if they find it so offensive then they should work harder to change their culture.

im not too sure about that, it might be the second home of my ally neighbor who calls the city on me at least once a month because my dogs bark at him when he puts stuff in the dumpster, which is directly behind my yard.
