  • JB, I have to agree with you. It would not be the first time a government “arranged” a shooting incident in order to move public sentiment toward gun control (read as surrender of weapons). Read about the Port Arthur, Tasmania, Australia massacre in 1996 that lead to laws seizing all privately held weapons. There are suspicions enough surrounding the Aurora, Colorado shooting. It just didn’t cause enough public outrage to turn public sentiment overwhelmingly toward strict gun control.
