  I’m beginning to think it doesn’t matter who won. I do believe there was a lot of fraud and eventually that will come out but all we have to do as a nation is look at the videos from “Black Friday” and see where our society is headed. No other comment is needed other than those people (and the stores that promote that type of animal behavior) should be ashamed of themselves. An Ipad or Yoga pants are not worth the price of someone’s life. How sad that we have degenerated into stampeding cattle to get a few dollars off of crap we probably don’t even need.

  I always thought there was something wrong with the pilgrims that stampede each other on the way to Mecca. Now that I see it in my own country, all I can do is shake my head and be grateful I live out in the country.

  What is wrong with everyone? The trolls attack each other with personal attacks on these comment forums on every website. Our has very little compassion, tact, or manners anymore. It’s sad. The forces of darkness are winning and whether you believe in God or not, there will be some type of correction some day. I just hope my children’s children don’t have to live in a world where there is so much hate.

  For the first time in my life, I’m ashamed of my country and it hurts.

  So if you fart while in line at the airport or border, will it trigger an alarm for potentially explosive gasses? What about if you drank particularly hard liquor a few hours before your trip and the laser pics up alcohol on your clothing or breath?
  What if your genetic profile shows you to be from a red state? Hmmmm.
  Sure this will be used only to look for explosives. Just like Google Earth is only used for mapping applications.

  I don’t understand the theology of it and I am certainly not “refined” enough to keep from being bitter. I see people who destroy families and corrupt children and seem to get away with it. I see liars, cheats, and thieves and ask how they seem to skate right by the rest of us who do the right things and occasionally have a cross or two to bear.

  This girl has remarkable courage. I can’t empathize with her because I can’t imagine the pain and suffering she is enduring. Her plight makes my troubles seem trivial at best.

  There was a shooting at the Pi Kappa Alpha house in the ’90′s and a Pike was seriously wounded. A man had been turned away from a party and then returned with a gun.

  I think Mr. Rodriquez would have received a heck of a beating or worse had he not been armed. Should someone had died that night? Probably not. He probably should not have gone over there in the first place. I imagine alcohol was involved and probably led to the men attending the party being the aggressors. Leaving the discussion to go get a gun doesn’t look good for them nor does one being restrained. Someone was looking for a fight. Mr. Rodriquez should not have been brandishing or even showing his weapon if he had a concealed weapons license and that doesn’t look good for him either.

  What a mess. I imagine everyone but the dead guy wishes they would have done things differently. This society is deteriorating. Though I didn’t see what time this shooting took place, it seems that neighbors don’t give a crap if their music is too loud or keeping people up and nobody seems to have any tact in dealing with a situation. Not sure what the answer is. Maybe we need to go back to charm school as a nation and learn manners and respect for each other or maybe we need to get to know our neighbors and maybe they will treat us like friends. How sad…

  I cannot hate an entire religion but it is hard to sympathize with many who call themselves Muslims and do not speak out against this barbaric code that many of their brothers and sisters live by. Maybe I just don’t understand Islam or Shariah law but from an outsider, it seems cruel and unfair to the innocent.

  I do not understand the theology of all this. Are we not all God’s creations even if we choose not to believe the same things? This poor girl may not have ever been shown the light as I see it but should she not have been protected? We know nothing about her.. and it’s possible she was not a virtuous young woman but I sense that she was a simple, innocent victim of the most vicious of animals.
  I have to ask, where is my God? I cannot help but think that evil and those who would be silent against it are taking over my country (the USA) and the world and I ask for my Lord’s protection and justice. It is growing darker and more savage every day and I fear for what my children will live to see as this darkness spreads across the world. Someone help me understand.
