I agree about her First Amendment rights. Unfortunately she appears wearing her uniform and perhaps posted her views while at work.
Anyone posting here should be aware of this. Especially if you are at work and using your employer's internet facilities. You have no right to privacy under these circumstances.
The writer of the racistsgettingfired tumblr posts another tumblr under the name yellowxperil. It is full of racist, sexist, violent and bigoted comments. In it, she insults people on the basis of their race, gender, sexual orientation, and even calls for violence. The hypocrisy is laughable. Also, this website is deleting any comments that dare point it out. So much for journalistic integrity.

Of course she can be fired for this... this isn't a free speech issue. She can say what she said all she wants to, and if she did it in her own personal clothes, where her speech reflected on nobody but herself, she wouldn't have been in this mess, and she'd still be working, happily making sandwiches...
Her stupid mistake, was doing so wearing her work uniform, which makes her an unauthorized representative of the company in the public's eyes. She brought shame and bad will upon the company who employed her, and put the company into a situation where they had to defend themselves against the public, over an action they had no participation in. Her action disrupted the store she worked at, her franchise, and the parent company, Subway, and did so in a very public manner for all the world to see.
She should have been fired the first moment that tweet was seen by her franchise owner.
You can say whatever stupid and ignorant and hateful things you want, all you want, but you can't force someone else, personal or corporate, to do so with you, against their will. That is what happened here.
She earned her firing, drawder. You should look for a better incident to defend your anti-employer stance. This is not one that will serve your position.
When you are in company uniform and on the company clock, you are a representative OF that company. As such, you are not being paid to exercise your free speech. You are being paid to work. Subway has a policy that requires all employees to conduct themselves in a manner that represents SUBWAY'S policies and beliefs. Not hers. What she does on her own time is her business. She wasn't on her own time and she wasn't in her own clothes.
She deserves and will be fired.

Usually the judge doesn’t have much discretion in the matter. There are calculators which determine how much child support a party owes. If she makes significantly more than him he could end up paying very little.
Many a man has been told by a woman that she was (1) on birth control or (2) was unable to have children. I know for sure this happened to my father-in-law when he was dating a woman after he divorced my mother-in-law. He did not want any more children and she assured him she was unable to have any more after having 3 boys of her own. Surprise!

The baby made no choice and is thus completely innocent. Why should the baby suffer merely because its mother was a whore?
 May 8, 2015 at 11:28am
That might sound good on paper the only problem is when the woman has an abortion there literally is nothing in need of support, except the doctor who performed the procedure. However, when the baby exists it has the right of support from both its mother and father. The father’s willingness to take ownership of the baby is immaterial. The baby is there so it needs to be supported. Just like your responsibility for a forest fire can’t be waived merely because you decide you don’t want to pay for it. You and she set the fire and nothing you can do to stop it. Remember that child support is not for the mother its for the child which is why male victims of rape must still pay child support.

He’s not wearing a military uniform so the quoted law is unimportant. A uniform, as recognized by international law, must indicate the service the person belongs to. Without the Us Army nametape or any other identifying insignia this is not a uniform.

If the kid was being honest that he joined the day before he was probably proud and wanted to show off a bit and be like his big brother. Kids are stupid, everyone knows that and he’ll grow up fast when he gets to basic. This guy was just an jerk. Guy was a Vietnam vet eh? At least this kid volunteered for the service. (6 years in the Army 2003-2009)

Civilians never know how to wear the uniform correctly.

Little reported is the fact that he had had neck surgery 10 days before due to a car accident. Reinjure is a real possibility.

This is metanews. Blazes’ so called writers make a story off the comments of a story. It is the height of laziness.
i like to call them the story of the story. i dont usually click on them but had missed the original and wanted to see if there was a link to it.

The answer to that is they had no interest in using the information for law enforcement purposes. They can’t because then they would have to show in court how they got the information. It’s used to gather information on foreign threats. Actually the more leaks and disclosures they make the greater the likelihood of it being used against Americans.
Well so is @sshole, but the easiest way to not be called an @sshole is to not be an @sshole. Easy peasy.

I have no idea on what she would be charged with. Certainly not animal cruelty. That would require her to cause the animal unnecessary suffering. An arrow through the brain ends suffering instantly as the animal no longer has the ability to feel pain let alone live. It’s probably more humane than the gas chamber she used at work. If the cat had an owner maybe destruction of property but that’s about it. No one would have a problem if this was a rabbit or some other rodent.

Maybe I am crazy but this doesn’t look like a real photo to me. There is no apparent blood or gore resulting from the head shoot. It looks so clean it could have come out of a PG movie.

It might even be alive, you can't tell, from this, still picture.
There wouldn't be much blood from an arrow, it plugs the wound closed sometimes.
"There wouldn’t be much blood from an arrow, it plugs the wound closed sometimes."
Perhaps there would not be 'much', but I did not see ***any*** at all.
I don’t know Blaze…I am horrified by the picture, but I still like the sheriff’s response. He’s only being smart in making sure this isn’t some kind of hoax. After all, just because it’s on the internet……….

We don’t know what the kid said in school it could have been “We have pot in our house.” Free speech doesn’t mean we won’t suffer from stupidity.
...except there was not pot in the house. Try again.
Yes, I just cannot feel outraged at this story, as the woman did knowingly violate the law. She should have stayed in Colorado if she really needed the pot.

The problem is that the wage gap only applies to abstract people in an abstract world. Real people are paid according to their experience and skills.

It will be a juvenile conviction, it wont follow him pass his 18th birthday. Matter of fact why are they even showing the kids face and name?
 April 10, 2015 at 2:28pm
This is why computer security is a serious matter. Should the kid have done what he did? No. Should the teacher have used such a stupid password? Absolutely not. That teachers should be charged right along with the kid for failure to take adequate security measures to protect sensitive student PII as well as protected government documents.

Typical kneejerk government overreaction. One accident and they decide to raise costs without regard for its effects.
