NO! No special council! That would give Eric Holder the decision making power to choose the prosecutor. That would be like having the fox guarding the hen house. A special commission, perhaps, but a prosecutor would take WAY too long…”conveniently” after the 2014 mid-terms. Nope…Issa is doing a good job with the depositions, especially since Trey Gowdy, (a former fed prosecutor himself), is present. Depositions can actually get a LOT more information, then just giving Gowdy and Chaffetz 5 minutes with some knucklehead Dem inbetween. Once the whistleblowers come forward, THEN make the hearings public…and wait for the Fall, once people are home from vacations, kids are back in school and America is paying attention. Then, release the info on the IRS and Benghazi both, for maximum impact. Remember…we need 11 Dems in the Senate to confirm impeachment…make it REALLY hard for those in purple States to hold their vote.

Bruce P-when did I ever question the war on terror? I don’t hae a problem stating that it IS a war…on terror and those that foment it. That is in direct contrast to The Incompetent One whom calls the Ft. Hood massacre a “workplace” shooting….who refuses to use the term, and whose minions have done likewise. Who’s the REAL traitor?

Perhaps Trey Gowdy will determine that in the upcoming hearing in front of the House Foreign Relations Mtg on Benghazi.

JustAngry-and you’ve missed over 50 years of Sunni vs. Shia violence, Jimmy Carter trying to appease muslims in Iran by throwing the Shah under the bus…how long have we paid for that mistake? We invaded Iraq because: 1) we had consensus in Congress to engage Saddam based on our best intel, 2) Saddam was torturing and killing his own people, 3) Saddam had previously invaded Kuwait, so he had more historical facts to base our decision upon and 4) only after Bush had tried to convince, (for 6 months), the UN to actually follow through with their resolutions which were clear, concise and left no card unturned. Your lack of historical perspective is rather stunning.

Patience, TIST…patience. While I have thought the same way…in order to make the process seem less like a witch hunt, (which would only be seriously vilified in the Press), you need hard evidence. I’m hoping that evidence will be further exposed by the House Foreign Relations Cmte hearings on Benghazi. Trey Gowdy is a bad a–, a former federal prosecutor whom will not be impressed with tirades by Artillery Hillary pounding her fists on the table and screeching “what difference does it make?” It will not take much during those hearings to warrant the House from hiring a special prosecutor to go after not only the State Dept, (Hillary), but the ONLY person that has the authority to send military assistance into a sovereign nation to protect our own sovereign soil and citizens…or the ability to have the military stand down, as was the case. I have written my Congressman…but one email from a concerned citizen does not carry as much weight as 700 former spec-ops personnel. Kudos to them. Write your Congressman…we should ALL do just that.

Zappa-weasels eating your flesh? It appears so. The individuals that make up a family ARE, indeed, an independent “group”…it is what our Founders believed. Your arguments are fallacious, because they are based upon false pretenses. Black Liberation Theology and Marxism believe in the collective, but that is not how this country came to be…it is not part of our heritage.

You see…it is because our Founders were not only brilliant, but human history is replete with failed societies and governments. They learned well…you have not. Progressivism is a slow cancer that eats away at America’s liberties. It eats away at the Constitution and the limits of federal power…but It began well before Obama, and his anti-colonial, Black Liberation Theology roots. He has just accelerated the process. IMO, it began with Woodrow Wilson…continued with FDR and LBJ, and was nearly complete with Jimmy Carter. What did they have in common? Those 4 Presidents had a filibuster-proof, super-majority in the Senate with a majority in the House. For comparison, a Republican President has NEVER had a super-majority in the Senate. Those four Presidents are responsible for the massive entitlements, out-of-control government, expansion of the public sector and, basically, the failures of our once great nation. Obama is just the latest marxist minion to lie his way into office and promise pie-in-the-sky to get re-elected. I could argue these points ALL DAY…so take your best shot.

Obe-is that $1M before, or after taxes? And what right does the government have to take ALL you’ve earned over some arbitrary amount? Wasn’t it FDR that one week after becoming POTUS in his first term, forced Americans to sell their gold to the government under criminal penalty if they didn’t? How would you like that?
