  • These numbers were taken over the past 10 years… how about over the past 5 years? What about years prior to 2002? Is this related to Administrations or is it due to other issues…
We need some additional informationg, but I will agree that these increases are far too high over a 10 year period. I also fully believe that our current President had done many damaging things in his basic policies that made prices increase… primarily when you consider his statement, “…energy prices will necessarily sky rocket…” Energy is used in all product, therefore he wanted them all to raise.

  • I will never be able to look at Biden again & not think of Nielsen… Maybe that will make his remaining time in office bearable?

  • “Moreover, the results of this legal challenge will likely depend on the results of Zimmerman’s own trial for the shooting of Trayvon Martin.”

Why? Did NBC doctor and/or misrepresent the facts of the case? Then they should be liable! The fact is,their statements & representation of this case shaped oppinion of the actual facts not yet presented to everyone, therefore, they should be liable for what they report… it defamed Mr. Zimmerman… period.

  • There are altitude affects on the body, but generally the limited effects only occur on those who are weak, infirmed, or already depleated in their physical body. I think that President Obama may qualify for some of that, but that is his own fault. Generally, I think this theory is bunk… which typically discribes the words coming from the mouth of our former Vice President Gore.

  • How about the fact that Obama has not taken any questions from reporters for weeks… won’t talk to anyone, especially someone who might be percieved to be an opposing view point.

  • A careful look at the three pictures tells me that last picture is not the same painting. If it is, then the entire painting was redone, not just touched up. The “scrolls” are different, the eyes are different… its not a touch up, it was a recreation… obviously failed.

  • Just because GM fails, what makes you think we automatically choose a foreign company? I grew up in a GM household but their stupidity over the years made them the failure they are today. Management agreeing to allow the Unions to bleed them dry has ended in complete disaster for GM (if not bailed out by the government) I insist that if GM and Chrysler were allowed to fail, through their own decissions & rightfully so, that others would have filled the holes left in that market. Sure alot of that probably would have been foreign owned, but new AMERICA business people would have used their money, their efforts, and created AMERICAN owned competition to take back what was always American… the auto industry. Now we are still beholden to the government…

  • It still comes down to philosophy… Liberals believe that the government should run everything. The money needed to run everything is there for the taking, just take it from those who earn it & give it to those they choose. Conservatives believe it is individual choice. If a companies management fails to produce, they chose incorrectly & there are consequences. It really is a matter of perspective. I still believe we should never have assisted the automakers. The market would have fixed itself. Sure there would have been tough times but the holes in the auto supply market that would have been created by GM & Chrysler failing, would have been plugged by another “healthier” auto supplier & things would have moved on.

  • The story says that the ad is “mis-leading”… in what way? I would like to know. I am a supporter of Israel and believe they should have that land, but I also want to know the facts. A real report will provide information that enables the reader to fully understand the situation. This article basically says… Someon posted an ad… other object… No evidence on either side… News used to be helpful… Aparently that isn’t the case anymore.
