I believe you meant to say that the lighter weight decreases stall speed. Therefore the plane can fly at a lower airspeed without stalling.

In the future it’s going to be hard, probably impossible, to get insurance on any business in Baltimore due to what the mayor said and did allow to happen.

This was a pre-planned event to add to the thrill of the jump for the paying passenger, or possibly a stunt done by the pilot to thrill himself and the instructor. You can see in the video that the jump instructor is giving the pilot the shaka or “hang loose” hand signal.
Now, the instructor is just trying to cover up a nearly disastrous situation. The blame for this goes to the pilot for intentionally performing a stupid stunt
After taking a second look at the video, I have to agree with drmda from the instructor’s actions, pointing the plane out to the girl it seems it was pre planned, still inexcusable and more so. If this could be proven to be planned the pilot could be subject to having his licence revoked or suspended.
You are 100% correct. This was a stunt gone wrong. If you watch close, the instructor was tapping on her shoulder and pointing at the plane, trying to get her to look at it and watch it. He did this imediatly after jumping, well before the plane was coming at them. He knew it was going to be strafing them.

A couple of years ago my wife received very poor service at a popular, downtown, asian restaurant. She normally tips 20%, but this time she was “ticked”. She left no tip and even wrote a (not nasty) note to the server on the back of the check explaining why she left no tip.
My wife got home and realized she must have left her credit card on the table at the restaurant. She immediately called the restaurant and spoke to the manager about the missing credit card. No one, not even the server, admitted to seeing the card on the table. Needless to say, I quickly reported a lost card to the credit card company.
Sometimes a server deserves no tip, but make sure you pickup your credit card.
Read 'Stick and Rudder' a few times and spend almost 2 decades learning to fly from a bad-ass P51D and P51K fighter pilot that used to go head to head with Russian Migs and then get back to me.
Can you answer these 4 question?
1- How do you make a plane go up?
2- How do you make a plane go down?
3- How do you make a plane go fast?
4- How do you make a plane go slow?
You already failed the 5th question so I won't ask it. And yes, I have seen this type of pilot error accident 'LIVE' before. All 3 were killed on the 3rd pass trying to land in very nice weather.
I'll be more than happy to teach you about flying without any sarcasm or ridicule.

I believe I’ll just wait for ABC to produce the audio of the radio call that Officer Wilson made calling for backup. THEN we will have the truth.

This is good news, right? A\It’s about time.
As long as businesses think they know what to expect from their government, then they can execute their plans for growth.
dont you jderstand its only good news when a republican is in charge. When its a democrat everyon is lying and numbers are being manipulated by everyone

My wife and I must be very lucky. We were in Maui in 2002 and I videotaped a pair of humpback whales breaching side-by-side over and over again. It probably went on for 8-10 minutes with 6-8 double breaches.
That is what Vanity gets you, nothing !
Once had girl tell me I was sooo ugly that I was cute !
Should have kept her around !

To the credit of DC Campaign, they list Washington, DC as a state. But they don’t say what the 52nd “state” is.

If you look at the video at 1:03 and pause it, it appears the cover is already beginning to come off the ball before the batter hits it. I remember from my childhood hearing that catchers would scrape the threads of the ball on their shinguard buckles in order to make the ball less aerodynamic. I wonder if this occurred sometime before the cover came off.
A Joe Niekro special. The umps just stood around never suspicious of anything. If no one sees the crime, there is no crime.

Actually it’s the LOVE of money
“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” 1 Timothy 6:10 NIV

I thought the first one was pretty cool, maybe not as great as what I expected after reading the article. The second photo, not too bad either. But then they all started looking the same.
There may be living to be made in thrown-sand photography, but I don’t think you’ll find it in this exhibit.
Check out the video a second time. You’ll see the pelican does rotate his head into the banked turn (the background is not longer parallel to his bill), but his wings bank even more. At first glance it gives the impression that his head stays level.
